"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI seem to have this hardwired into my head with any media I think about too much
Hide / Show RepliesEarlier in the gear I played Portal 2 for 10 hours straight to completion as it came out, slept, played it again for 6 hours to completion again the next day, and by time I was done it was time for school. Underslept, my mind drugged on Portal 2 puzzles, and a school building primarily decorated with white tiles. Not the best idea ever.
THIS PLACE IS FILLED WITH NATTER
I got my political views from reddit and that's badI was searching for a YMMV page... when it comes to Resident Evil examples, there was a time when everyday things like opening a door, opening a drawer to take a key, stepping on a chair to reach higher, or pushing a piece of furniture etc. reminded me of Resident Evil puzzles. Not to mention, stuffy houses with ornate furniture, tapestry on the walls etc. ALWAYS remind me of the Spencer Mansion.
Can me we please change the picture for this page? It's just...ugh, it's not even funny. At all.
Hide / Show RepliesTake it to the Image Pickin' forum, though I personally find it amusing. I can see why someone wouldn't, though.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going."Dead Space ... one word: Anus Cakes."
first of all these are two words, and secondly WTF ARE ANUS CAKES?!?
I wanted to sent this to the Trope Repair Shop, but there was no more space.
Should examples be limited to in-universe ones?
In light of Just One More Level! being made in-universe only https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=1318443011028620100&page=1, the reason being that any game could fit the trope, can be same reasoning be applied to The Tetris Effect?
Now In-Universe Examples Only per TRS:
