I've seen only 9 character power grids, one of them is Chun-Li. The grids include intelligence, strength, speed, stamina, energy projection and fighting ability.
In particular, her speed is 7 of 7, but her strength is 3. Very fast, but not so powerful.
MAX POWER KILL JEEEEEEEEWWWWWIf you use the Marvel key for it (Which the Marvel characters use for their power grids), then the Capcom characters start looking really ridiculous. Particularly Ryu: Intelligence: 4 Strength: 6 Speed: 5 Stamina: 6 Energy Projection: 7 Fighting Ability: 7
The Capcom grids are full of ridiculous stats. I think Chris is one of the most notable examples, since he has absolutely no superpowers, but according to his grid he's a bulletproof genius who can lift 25+ tons and move at the speed of sound.
This grid is different, I think. But it would be cool if Zero (Int 5, Str 5, Spd 5, Stm 3, EP 5, Fig 7) is a genius who can lift 25-75 ton range, run in Mach-2 (maybe with his dash) and knowing all forms of combat.
Remember, Power Creep, Power Seep, Strong as They Need to Be and Gameplay and Story Segregation.
MAX POWER KILL JEEEEEEEEWWWWWI actually found some humerous. Ryu can lift boulders as seen in one of the 'Street Fighter III: Third Strike' endings so I assumed he would be around a 4 or 5 in strength. As for intelligence, I guess he's smarter then he lets on. Some, like Morrigan I'd assume would be higher while X-23's intelligence I thought would be around 3.
If only they had ninshu, Naruto could show Bort his own childhood to stop him being such a little bitch. - IronypusThere's been a big info leak, with heavy rumours that the next DLC characters are Frank West and Dr. Octopus. Could someone look into this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyM Hide / Show RepliesCan anybody read kanji? Then can you help me with this pic?◊
MAX POWER KILL JEEEEEEEEWWWWW Hide / Show RepliesThe picture is very blurry, but each kanji seems to represent a character from the MVC 3 rooster: for example: cat (猫) for Felicia, spring (春) fo Chun-Li, dog (犬) for Amaterasu, Heaven (?) (天) for Akuma (the Kanji on his back), power (力) for Hulk, star (星) for Capt. America, king (王) for Doom, lightning (雷) for Thor, spider (蜘) for Spider-Man, murder (殺) for M.O.D.O.K., tempest (嵐) for Storm, flame (炎) for Dormammu, god (神) for Galactus, etc. I don't know enough kanji to make out the rest.
Edited by endlessnostalgiaI saw this on Capcom-unity. I posted it in the Trivia section under Alternate Character Reading for reference. I have all of them except Arthur and C.Viper's Kanji.
Edited by DRCEQWhat's the difference between a special, a super, and a hyper?
Hide / Show RepliesSpecial is the simple combination of d-pad/joystick and attack (or another button) that doesn't consume the super bar. The standard Hadoken and Shoryuken are specials.
OTOH, super/hyper (they're interchangeable, but Mv C uses Hyper) is a more complex button combinations that consumes the super/hyper bar. Shinkuu Hadoken and Shoryuu Reppa are hypers.
MAX POWER KILL JEEEEEEEEWWWWWAre we going to need to make a separate page just for the Catchphrase of each character in this game? Seriously, this is getting a littllllllllle out of hand here.
Hide / Show RepliesWhere are we getting the idea that Sentinel and Hsien-Ko are unlockables?
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.com Hide / Show RepliesThey aren't, according to the very real and very confirmed youtube videos and pictures of the character select screen showing Sentinel and Hsien-Ko right from the start.
That would be my bad; I thought I remembered hearing that they had to be unlocked as well. I removed the hottips.
But in those pictures and videos, Akuma and Taskmaster can be seen available from the start as well. And they were confirmed as unlockable.
The four of them were announced to be unlockable. They are on the select screen because it's not the retail version of the game.
As-tu rempli ta vie de belles choses ?Should 'and the fandom rejoiced' be added to the game's page? I ask this because of Sentinel's inclusion...among other things.
Hide / Show RepliesSubjective tropes go to the YMMV page unless said trope is actually demonstrated in the series.
That said, it's already on the YMMV.
In the Akuma trailer, at 0:49, is that...Cyber Doctor Doom?
Hide / Show RepliesNope. It's metallic and shiny, and when Akuma's fighting him he doesn't have a life bar.
Speculation is that it's Dr. Doom after having absorbed the Silver Surfer's powers. Notice how in the video that it's Akuma vs. ONLY HIM.
Oh, I see. I think that metallic Doom is the mid boss or something, and the battle stage is in space. It's really only him, he's all metallic, and most importantly, look at the timer - it says "Earth Time" and "Save The Earth!"
MAX POWER KILL JEEEEEEEEWWWWWThat Doom is actually Cosmic Doom and, along with Cosmic Wesker, is the sub boss before the final one. You can see there's two life bars there.
Could anybody show me the Cosmic Wesker?
MAX POWER KILL JEEEEEEEEWWWWWThere's no pic of Cosmic Wesker. It's speculation so far.
As-tu rempli ta vie de belles choses ?Wouldn't it be cool if you fought Mutated Wesker from the end of RE 5?
Hell yeah! But not if he's a SNK Boss.
MAX POWER KILL JEEEEEEEEWWWWW
Anyone know what trope would be used regarding the stats on the Capcom Power Grids because I know there have been jokes about Chun-li apparently being capable of moving at the speed of light.
