The description mentions two studies which I hear about but have never actually seen verification for. Could somebody add citations?

Does the scene at the start of this page (from Ever17) count? The narration is vague, but I can't think of any other explanation for how the story doesn't consider it rape. Here's the example I considered:

  • It's difficult to tell due to vague narration and Sexy Discretion Shot, but judging from the narration, Ever17 seems to invoke this in its not-a-rape scene. The male protagonist is strangled, pinned, and forcefully kissed, but this doesn't seem to bother him at all once the woman starts stripping them:
I heard only the slight rustle of clothing, and Tsugumi's sigh. Hearing that sound, I felt a craziness swell up inside me. Two shadows overlapped to become one. And I plunged into the chaos, further and further and became one.

Removed this from the page:

  • Inverted, subverted, and played with in a series of fanfics revolving around a certain family:
    • In A Thousand Words, the girl is both far more nervous, and far more eager, than the boy—but only outwardly, as he's a stoic bordering on Emotionless Boy.
    • In Bad Company, both halves of the couple are willing to jump in bed from day one, and neither displays any shyness or uncertainty at all.
    • In Food of Love, the girl is prone to openly fantasizing about her boyfriend's ass, and comments that she'd far more likely to grope his than he is to grope hers... but in actually romantic or sexual situations, he tends to take the lead, and she shows shyness, even if she's still the more openly eager of the two.
    • In Bloody Valentine, the boy is one of the most offensive, foul-mouthed, crude, violent people ever, is constantly talking about molesting women after mutilating them/their boyfriends, and comes across as an Ax-Crazy Knife Nut with serious sadomasochistic tendencies, and not in the 'safe' way either. He is also a virgin, thinks seeing a woman's bare breasts is a mortal sin, and has absolutely NO idea what he's saying actually means; he only knows it pisses people off when he talks like that, and he likes fighting... His love interest is a violent girl with a Hair-Trigger Temper and an inferiority complex, and she has to basically force him to feel her up on their wedding night.

...And just what is this "certain family" supposed to be?

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.

What the heck is the example in the Fanfiction section? It doesn't mention the name of the fic or which fandom it is.

It's a series of fanfics, the title of each story is included in each sub-bullet.

It's a good thing our last name isn't Drew, because then you'd be Nancy Drew and I'd be Andrew Drew. -Andy Botwin
