Is there any evidence/sceenshot/interview/whatever to prove Burgh's Unlucky Childhood Friend status towards Elesa? It's something that's been bugging me, due to the fact that after scouring the game, I haven't been able to find something.
Edited by RawkstarVienna "ur blog sux" - sylvia plath Hide / Show RepliesI'd like to know as well, their Bulbapedia pages don't even say anything about it.
Maybe it's something that gets brought up in the Gym Leader gossip show that pops up on TV every so often? That'd be my guess, but I have no idea if it's true or not.
Caitlin's hair in DPP-HGSS. It was brown, wasn't it? It doesn't look dirty blond or like a dark shade of blond, it looks brunette.
Why does the Two Girls and a Guy trope keep on disappearing, when its Distaff Counterpart stays? Why not just delete that, and keep the Three Amigos?
Edited by Pichukun Hide / Show RepliesApparently Two Girls and a Guy is not the Distaff Counterpart to Two Guys and a Girl but something different all together according to the people deleting it, but I really can't tell the difference either.
When is Professor Juniper's first name mentioned in the games? If it's an anime-exclusive name (similar to Oak's,) should it go on the characters page?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. Hide / Show RepliesApparently, it's in the strategy guide. I'll leave her first name off for now, you can add it back if you want.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.It is in the official strategy guide- near the front section, there are short little bios of the characters, and she is referred to as "Professor Aurea Juniper." It's never mentioned in-game as far as I'm aware, though, so who knows why they gave her a name there.
Shouldn't ghetsis be a complete monster? Considering what he does, there are no redeemable qualities for him.
Hide / Show Replies"Word Of God says the connection [of N's Black-and-White Morality] to the title was intended from the start." Just out of curiosity, which interview/article/website is this from? I found the source for the other Word of God stuff, but I was curious about this. I'm not doubting it, the stories behind the creation of certain concepts and characters in games just interests me.
Where did all the tropes with the red dots go. O_O They just disappeared.
Say it in red! "People die when they are killed." Hide / Show RepliesWhat's the source for all the Word of Gods about gym leaders' backgrounds and such that are in the character descriptions?
Hide / Show RepliesThere was an interview in a Japanese magazine which detailed some of the character's design inspirations. It's buried on Pokéjungle somewhere.
Can someone tell me where Harmonia came from? I haven't seen it anywhere else.
Hide / Show RepliesAccording to a thread on Bulbagarden, there's a couple of instances in which it's mentioned. Thread here: http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/showthread.php?p=2897613
"ur blog sux" - sylvia plathReplaced the Bel picture. Not sure about that gym leader picture though.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!We don't list individual pokemon in the character page, right? Is it only for the human characters?
Moral Relativity FTW Hide / Show RepliesYes. There's already a page for individual Pokemon.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Stupid question, but where does the name "Kuro" come from? It seems odd that the Male PC has three names, and the Female only has two.
Hide / Show RepliesI'm more befuddled where "Blair" and "Whitlea" came from. I haven't seen anything on those names before. Proof?
"Blair" is a girl's name (usually, anyway), and appearently "Whitelea" is suppposed to be like another name, though I forget what it is (I saw the link on the Bulbgarden forums, I think...).
Moral Relativity FTWActor Blair Underwood would like a word with you. Blair is actually a unisex name. I don't know where the names came from, but they seem like the sort of names the player characters get for the English releases. I just can't figure where "Kuro" comes from.
If Kodomo No Jikan is anything to go by, kuro is a way to say black in Japanese.
Edit: It turns out that "kuro" means black in Japanese, and "shiro" means white.
Edited by ronasokily Moral Relativity FTWStuff on Aloe - you may be surprised. It's not what you people think. http://vgboy.dabomstew.com/other/BlackuToHowhite.txt
Specifically, the Aloe bit.
"Aloe: Cynthia's a famous archaeologist, so, y'know! We fellow researchers like to talk amongst each other, all academic-like!
Aloe: When I was little... My pops dug for rocks in the mountains, and always used to bring back bones. My childish fascination for the things is what made me become a researcher!
Aloe: Aren't fossils just amazing? Being dead, they shouldn't be able to say a thing, yet they tell us all about the age they lived in. Hahaha... that's a line from Araragi's lil' girl, though, 'course!"
Now you know. It's not what you think.
Edited by kct43 Don't worry too much about everything, all right? Hide / Show RepliesIt's said though that everyone ignore that and just wants to yell "STEREOTYPE"
Ugh. .__.
I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky like a tiger, defying the laws of gravity
What's the point of spoiler-marking N's last name? Very few characters in these games have last names, and it's not going to be too hard for people looking at the page to geuss that he's more likely to be related to Ghetsis than to Professor Juniper.
