I do think so. Maybe Protagonist, Bionis + Mechonis, and the gods.
Where there's life, there's hope.I've decided to cut this part out of Fiora's Dub Name Change entry until we've got more solid clarification (or a citation) than this.
- Nintendo of Europe's localization team probably modified it because "-ung" is, in most European languages' phonetics, an exclusively male name ending.
In German, in a funny exception that proves the rule, the -ung ending is indeed of the feminine grammatical gender.
Regarding the Architect, please leave all information pertaining to him in Xenoblade Chronicles 2's character page here in a separate, spoiler-marked entry.
Edited by MonoCapWhy is Jade Face the only Face listed in combination with his Homs counterpart? I know we're not concerned with spoilers, but it makes Gadolt's Trope list confusing as to which Trope applies to which version of the character (and is inconsistent with Mumkhar/Metal Face being separate).
Edited by 38.114.86.50 Hide / Show RepliesBecause Mumkhar and Metal Face were initially portrayed as two separate characters (and therefore, both personas have their own trope lists), while Jade Face is identified as Gadolt almost immediately after he/it is introduced. If Jade Face had its own entry, it would be either almost empty or redundant with Gadolt's. If anything, Mumkhar is the odd one out, and his entries ought to be cleaned up so we don't have the same trope for the same character listed twice.
Edited by 71.84.9.160The number of spoilers in Fiora's section is almost getting to the point of being a spoiler by itself. If someone who just left Colony 9 saw her page, my bet is that their first thought would be either "she comes back at some point" or "she's a really fleshed-out Posthumous Character," with the former being more likely. Anyone else think we should split the spoilered parts into their own section?
Pulled:
- Adult Child: Like every Nopon who isn't the Elder.
Adult Child has been renamed to One of the Kids. In order for this to be an example of the trope, the character's childishness has to be from or demonstrated by interacting with children. This example can be added back with context relevant to the trope if it fits.
"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous." Hide / Show RepliesI'd say it probably doesn't. Nopon in general act childish (because it helps them in their interactions with the other races) but they don't spend an unusual amount of time around their kids. (Though there are Nopon children around.)
- Adorably Precocious Child: Juju.
I've been wondering if we should split up the Bionis section into the different areas of Bionis (Colony 9/Colony 6/Frontier Village/Alcamoth) to keep some sort of chronological order, but this might be less of an issue than In thought due to spoiler-tagging being off on this page.
On that note, would Egil's final actions be considered Heroic Sacrifice, or Defiant to the End? My interpretation of the events are thar Egil was going to die anyway via Zanza's razing of the Mechonis, so he decided to strike the Bionis out of spite.
