Yeah, I gotta agree that the page is getting way too big.

- Mad God: According to an obscure text, he's utterly insane.
- Pelinal Whitestrake, who was undoubtedly psychotic, also had this to say:
"O Aka, for our shared madness I do this! I watch you watching me watching back!"- May or may not be the case. According to at least a few sources in the games, the various aspects of Akatosh (Auri-El, Akatosh, Tosh-Raka, etc) are separate entities connected only by their common "oversoul". Akatosh specifically was created by the Alessian Order trying to purge the elven aspects of Auri-El while merging him with aspects of the Nordic god Shezzar, which resulted in a Literal Split Personality.
Are we just waiting until Online comes out before we state Molag Bal is the Big Bad? We've known about this since before the first Beta, and it makes this very clear very early in the game. Are we only keeping this a secret because the game doesn't have an official release yet, or can I just go ahead and unspoiler it?
Should we be adding so many factions that are exclusive to one game? We already have stuff for the Stormcloaks, the Companions, and other things on the Skyrim character pages.
Another thing: Should we even count Anu and Padomay as characters? They're not really gods or conscious figures in anyway.
Edited by SilentColossus Hide / Show RepliesI think that yes, we should include factions which only appear in one game, since several of them are quite important to the ongoing plots (such as the Mythic Dawn and the Thalmor) and so others who are not as familiar with the games will know what we're talking about when we mention them in a group.
That said, I recognize that this is getting to be pretty large, so how about we split the page into subpages: Aedra, Daedra, and other Gods go into a Characters: The Elder Scrolls Gods, races and factions go into a Characters: The Elder Scrolls Races And Factions, and a Characters: The Elder Scrolls Historical And Recurring Characters?
If you need to mention factions exclusive to one game, you can link to the character page of that game.
Edited by SilentColossusAs per this topic, Race tropes don't belong on character pages, they have been moved to their own subpage.
'However, his robot mom did not handle the ashes of Red Mountain very well and broke down.'
Best. Elder Scroll. Sentence. Ever.
Given the side of this page, perhaps these various folders can be made into subpages?
