Well ther both incorrect if if you read both chick magnet and Casanova pages as I said you'd know that and if you read implied love interest you'd know that a someone openly showing interest doesn't make them one and Celica doesn't fill that role for the series so know your tropes I'll be deleting that one until you can come up with something because it's incorrect.
Your response doesn't really explain anything. While I agree that Kagura fits more into The Casanova trope than the Chick Magnet, there really isn't anything that goes against Celica being an Implied Love Interest. She is one of the few characters in the series to show overt romantic interest towards Ragna and she has her own fair amount of Ship Tease moments with him.
Edited by followerofcakeIF you're gonna say a trope doesn't fit, you could at least explain yourself. What you said has nothing to do whether one is an Implied Love Interest or not, its more on the fact that there's a potential interest between one or two of them.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. The reason she's not is because she isn't filling the role of love interest any more than Noel or Rachel is she in love with Ragna yes does she get Ship Tease definitely but she gets it possibly less than the other two throughout the series. The main relationship with ragna seems to be with Noel throughout the series as it's pretty much been revolving around her, but she or Rachel don't fit the trope either because they all get equel amount of teasing but it should be noted in central fiction Celica is looking to have the least chance.
No reason Ragna can't have more than 1 Implied Love Einterest.
We don't need justice when we can forgive. We don't need tolerance when we can love.Except that there are plenty of works where a character can have more than one Implied Love Interest. For example:
- Final Fantasy VII: Aerith and Tifa for Cloud.
- Fire Emblem: Awakening: The Female Avatar and Sumia for Chrom.
- Persona 3: Yukari and Aigis for the Male Protagonist.
So, yes. Ragna can have multiple ILIs.
And as for your previous post, most of it seems to be based on personal interpretation. Yes, Ragna has an important relationship with Noel that gets a lot of focus, but that's due to the fact she the leading female character and Tritagonist to this series, her connection to many of the huge events happening in the story of all four games and her connection to Saya, Ragna's younger sister.
Also, I don't see how Celica has the least chance as of CF. Is it because she's mostly focused on trying to save her sister, Nine? Because if so, you should know that that doesn't lessen Celica being an ILI at all. She still does have romantic feelings towards Ragna, but she's also busy with trying to stop Nine from destroying the world.
Edited by followerofcakeAgain no he can't 1 Yukari was the Implied Love Interest of persona 3 as it was written as such before social links were added two. 2 Arieth is the the implied love inters for cloud as noted on the page fire emblem is tricky as it depends or not you what gender you play as but all 3 of those are RP Gs. And as for central fiction she does have feelings for Ragna but so but the difrence is Rachel spends the entir game trying to save him, while he is trying to find and save Noel. The only thing you have stated that Celica is Implied Love Interest is because she has feelings for ragna that's not enough.
.........so your reasoning for Celica not being an ILI is because Rachel's trying to save Ragna who's trying to find and save Noel?
Buddy, those things don't make Celica any less of an ILI. It just means that Ragna, Noel and Rachel are all trying to save each other from dying.
Your missing the point it's the fact that both also have feelings for him like Celica but share a closer relationship than she does but I wouldn't even call them a ILI, meanwhile your reason for Celica being one is she likes Ragna.......well good for her.
Dude, all three girls have an important, close relationship with Ragna. Just because Rachel and possibly Noel have feelings for Ragna doesn't mean that Celica is any less of an IPI for him. And the fact that a character is repeatedly shown to have romantic interest towards another character usually makes them an ILI.
No get your facts right showing interest doesn't make you a ILI filling out the role of a LI but it never being directly stated their a couple but they could be does however. Showing interest is Ship Tease and considering 7 girls are doing that to Ragna there's a lot of that going around but no ILI.
Honestly, it just kind of sounds like you're forcing your own opinions on the matter because your reasoning basically boils downs to "Rachel and Noel are closer to Ragna, therefore Celica doesn't count as an ILI"
The main point of ILI is that the pairing may or may not be canon due to the ambiguity of the situation; nothing you've explained disqualifies Celica from the trope's description, so your reasoning for removing the trope aren't justified or logical.
Edited by BlackYakuzu94 A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yore joking right I explained it to you she does no fill the role I described did you seriously not read any of the description i never said she dosnt like ragna or maybe have Ship Tease with Ragna I said she isn't a ILI. Your currently the one forcing your opinion that she is a ILI based on she likes him.
And I'm saying your reasoning does not actually explain anything on why she isn't an Implied Love Interest. Once again, all the trope covers is a pairing being implied, but never outright stated.
None of what you said relates to the trope's description or why Celica does not qualify; ok, so she doesn't fill the role of love interest anymore than other characters who also have implied feelings for Ragna...that still means Celica herself still has implied feelings for him and would therefore count towards the trope.
If your issue is that Noel or Rachel seemingly don't qualify, well nobody claimed that they didn't, you did.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Ok maybe I'm putting this wrong I'll try a different way what I'm trying to to tell isn't about Noel or Rachel it's about Celica your saying is her feelings for Ragna make her a ILI but it only means Ship Tease. A discriptiob of the trope is as I said this "The Implied Love Interest is when one character fills the role of a Love Interest to another character in the narrative, or otherwise has a lot of tropes related to being a Love Interest surrounding them, but nothing explicit in the narrative or from the creators is ever stated on the matter." She only has Ship Tease and in Blazblue that's common she DOES NOT FIT THE TROPE.
Maybe the big issue is that ILI is a bit too... subjective?
Hey, Dragon... grammar and punctuations, please.
We don't need justice when we can forgive. We don't need tolerance when we can love.Yeah I'm on a phone and the spellcheck is hell my bad, but seeing it's a discussion it shouldn't effect to much.
I mean, for the wiki pages.
We don't need justice when we can forgive. We don't need tolerance when we can love.Maybe I can ask for assistance from Ask The Tropers. Just maybe.
We don't need justice when we can forgive. We don't need tolerance when we can love.So what's the conclusion? Are we keeping the ILI trope for Celica or not?
Alright, we can remove it; its not really essential
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.If it turns out to be a thing by the end of the full Central Fiction realease we will put it back up.
Okay, so there's an Edit War going on for Kagura either being a Chick Magnet or The Casanova and whether or not Celica is an Implied Love Interest for Ragna. Let's try to sort this out.
