Eight Deadly Words is the closest I see.
Is there an Audience Reactions trope where a work has Loads And Loads Of Characters as regular characters (maybe over 40 or 50) and it incites audience fatigue and confusion in trying to follow all of the characters?
At first i thought Audience-Alienating Premise, but that didn't fit... so what could it be?
Also, and this is more for Western Animation, is there a trope for where a series falls into obscurity outside of a hardcore of enthusiasts, like Filmation's Ghostbusters, or for where a series just falls into obscurity because it drops off the public's radar, like Monchhichis which is obscure (to some) nowadays.
Are there any tropes on obscurity (apart from Mainstream Obscurity, which wouldn't fit this, as that's where everyone knows the work, even if they haven't read it) that fit this?
I'm struggling to find the tropes for this! Would appreciate the help!
