What's weirder is that he puts "grammar" as an edit reason even if they don't have anything to do with grammar.
The really weird thing is that the trailer isn't canon to begin with, so I'm not sure what there is to argue over.

So I’m not the only one who noticed that meddling! Seriously, it’s so weird. Who’d go on here and change those mentions specifically? Is it a misguided attempt at protecting the image of the Mario bros? I believe a few other pages were affected too, including the Awesome page, Ultimate’s Memes page and Mario and Luigi’s entries in the character pages. I’m sure there’s other parts affected too, but that’s what I remember off the top of my head.

Their edit history is linked in the OP. They're a sporadic editor, they just went on a wonking spree yesterday for some reason.
I reverted some of the edits.

The edit that said "grammar" actually involved Bluenose Bowdlerization, since it replaced "fuckin' Dracula" with "Count Dracula".

Yes, but others have now made edits, so now the mods can't cleanly revert the pages without getting rid of those new edits. This really wouldn't be a problem if "click to see context" in the Edit History wasn't broken so we could tell where the entries that were deleted outright used to be so they could be manually reverted without guessing.
Suspended them for the misleading edit reasons, but none of their edits can be reverted with a tool.

seems to be editing on a "Death didn't rip Luigi's soul out of his body" agenda (in reference to an event that happened in Simon and Richter's joint reveal trailer
for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate).
Also for some reason they removed two of Luigi's aliases on Pantheon.Unpopularity so I have no clue if he's for or against Luigi ¯_(ツ)_/¯
