Nippon Ichi (Disgaea, Makai Kingdom, etc.):
Hakunon's Strange QuestNo. Barbara is basically the person who the King K Faction wants to replace Laharl with. She doesn't seem to be physically related to him at all, and my guess is that the King K Faction plans to use her as a figurehead. Barbara is more of a knightly-type from what we know, while Laharl's aunt is a dominatrix bitch (from what I've read about the novels) This game is not a adaptation of the novels. People need to get that silly notion out of their heads.
I see, thanks.
All business!I wonder if we're working our way towards a situation where most of your army can be storming around the map as a single character. Join me in pie-in-the-skying and imagine a character dual-wielding giant magichange weapons and piggybacking on a giant magichange monster! That's seven characters in one! Seven! Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah! (It's not clear that it will work like this at all, but I like to imagine it will.)
If that's the case, the the result would be Kaiju-sized (and unable to last a turn before collapsing into a pile of dazed demons).

Moe Game ConsoleSome more Neptunia V english screen shots. Apparently Nepgear is into hardware not software.
Also in Neptunia news. Here's what Neptune Noire Blance and Vert will likely look like in the anime.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2
Hakunon's Strange QuestI have to say, Noire and Nep look nice in the anime.
Aw, I don't get to keep the Demon Lord title for beating Etna? Tch. I guess it filled a spot in the Dark Record book but getting the worst ending and trekking through enough of the game to beat Laharl on top of that seems like too much of a hassle. Especially since the latter is apparently pretty much the same as the 'pick an ending with an Overlord' ending. Why are they even logged separately?
Hakunon's Strange QuestActually, I am pretty sure the Laharl ending just has him throwing a temper tantrum and blowing up Veldime. I am not sure what the other ending you mention does. If it's the same thing, maybe the different setting attributes a different ending? I dunno.
BTW I have a question, Can you check out recent roles for Fuka's seiyuu? I think you'll find a surprise there.
Hakunon's Strange QuestWho is that?
That's what I mean. He blows up the planet. However, there's a bill you can unlock in a new game plus that lets you fight Laharl immediately. If you win, he blows up the planet. However, the Dark Record counts these versions of Laharl differently. He has four different entries.
I'll search for the name. Alright check the list of roles that a voice actor in japan called Suzuko Mimori did/will do soon. You may find a surprise and a familiar name there.

Hakunon's Strange QuestIs it a different location at least? Maybe it's because one is a "story" stage while the other is a "extra" stage. Don't be a tease kid. Just say it. Also, you are saying that Fuka's VA....voiced Fuka. Oh lordy. Next you are going to say that Laharl's VA voices Laharl!

They're different stages, but they give the same ending. I guess the chapter 1 version has you fight a couple monsters too.
I'm trying to say that Fuka's Japanese VA will voice Pinkie Pie in the Japanese dub of the show. Though it would make a Hey, It's That Voice! or Retroactive Recognition moment later for people playing the Japanese track of A Promise Unforgotten.

Hakunon's Strange QuestOh. Why does that matter? Oh noes, a VA has more than one role! D:
Time Gal's driver's license photo. But this one's different because it involves PONIES! Which everyone on the internet cares about! grooooooooan

The armored ravenGet your ponies off of my Disgaea! Get them off of my everything!
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...
Hakunon's Strange QuestYou know, the way he was hyping it, I expected it to be something awesome or at least NIS related. Alas, the Internet disappoints again. Anywho, Disgaea. ...I haven't gotten around to playing more D4. I am sorry everyone. I am just not feeling it.
Time Gal's driver's license photo.Like it matters to me. I haven't played any of them.
Hakunon's Strange QuestYou really should. Disgaea is fun. I recommend 4 the most of all.
Time Gal's driver's license photo.I have no PS3, and I must be sure I want one just for exclusives. Maybe I'll look into the PS2 ones when money starts coming in. Doubt I'll have much luck, but if I can find Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 at a Gamestop in Mount Pleasant, who knows? Slightly off-topic: Hyperdimension Neptunia is a rather long name to type out.

Hakunon's Strange QuestAh OK. And yeah it is. I don't think anyone would mind if we just say Neptunia or even Neptune.
Okay, I've decided to leave this thread until I can get a VITA and D3. lest I go into Opinion/Fan Myopia Fundamentalist Fan Dumb mode and make more stupid posts tangentially related to N1 games or start taking about ponies. (As for the hype, You think I will be the one fast enough to post relevant news before otherarrow or mega-dark?). See you in a few months.

GeomancerD3 Vita is also pretty good... Gameplay wise. Story wise, you may want to start mashing the cutscene skip button.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!
