I wonder if we're working our way towards a situation where most of your army can be storming around the map as a single character. Join me in pie-in-the-skying and imagine a character dual-wielding giant magichange weapons and piggybacking on a giant magichange monster! That's seven characters in one! Seven! Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah! (It's not clear that it will work like this at all, but I like to imagine it will.)

Aw, I don't get to keep the Demon Lord title for beating Etna? Tch. I guess it filled a spot in the Dark Record book but getting the worst ending and trekking through enough of the game to beat Laharl on top of that seems like too much of a hassle. Especially since the latter is apparently pretty much the same as the 'pick an ending with an Overlord' ending. Why are they even logged separately?
Actually, I am pretty sure the Laharl ending just has him throwing a temper tantrum and blowing up Veldime. I am not sure what the other ending you mention does.
If it's the same thing, maybe the different setting attributes a different ending? I dunno.

That's what I mean. He blows up the planet. However, there's a bill you can unlock in a new game plus that lets you fight Laharl immediately. If you win, he blows up the planet. However, the Dark Record counts these versions of Laharl differently. He has four different entries.

They're different stages, but they give the same ending. I guess the chapter 1 version has you fight a couple monsters too.

I'm trying to say that Fuka's Japanese VA will voice Pinkie Pie in the Japanese dub of the show. Though it would make a Hey Its That Voice or Retroactive Recognition moment later for people playing the Japanese track of A Promise Unforgotten.

I have no PS3, and I must be sure I want one just for exclusives.
Maybe I'll look into the PS 2 ones when money starts coming in. Doubt I'll have much luck, but if I can find Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk 2 at a Gamestop in Mount Pleasant, who knows?

Barbara is basically the person who the King K Faction wants to replace Laharl with. She doesn't seem to be physically related to him at all, and my guess is that the King K Faction plans to use her as a figurehead.
Barbara is more of a knightly-type from what we know, while Laharl's aunt is a dominatrix bitch (from what I've read about the novels)
This game is not a adaptation of the novels. People need to get that silly notion out of their heads.
