See, the thing is it's established through Takumi that Anankos possesses people by taking advantage of their negative emotions, amplifying them and using the negative emotions as a foothold. For Gunter, killing his family and friends not only ensures that Gunter will harbor resentment for "Garon" that Anankos can take advantage of, it also allows Anankos to vent his rage at humans.
As for why Gunter has a place at the Avatar's side and can potentially turn the Avatar against Garon, I doubt Anankos would be that bothered since the Avatar can't really do much against the Empty Vessel without a powered-up Yato. I'm betting that as soon as Anankos detects Gunter becoming a nuisance, he simply orders the Empty Vessel to find a way to throw Gunter into Valla so Anankos can begin "assuming direct control."
Then again, you also have to remember that the person thinking of this plan is not the most mentally sound of individuals...
As I said before, it's not like Gunter needs to be mad at Garon specifically for the possession to work.
Looking at their stats, I suggest promoting Catria to Falcoknight for slightly balanced stat spread, Caeda to Dracoknight for extra bulk. It's really a matter of personal taste if you're not playing on Maniac or Lunatic.
Enjoyment and Excitement! It does fit with how Anankos does things though. I've mentioned it before, but Anankos likes to force his victims to go through the same thing he did during his degeneration, taking negative emotions and amplifying them until said negative emotions are all that's left. It's like how Anankos's negative feelings towards humans that attacked him after he briefly lost control festered, making him forget his love for humans and how some still had faith in him.
I don't even think he needed Gunter to be mad at "Garon" specifically, so long as there is resentment that Anankos can take advantage of. It just so happened that the way Anankos went about things also gave him a chance to see a bunch of humans dead.
Not playing it on Maniac or Lunatic, only on Hard because I doubt I could do those difficulty with the current party in the playthrough.
Fire Emblem Heroes Code: 4547311645 Fate/Grand Order Code: 188037115After taking a break for a bit, finally cleared Chapter 14 with everyone alive, plus Corinne/Kaze A Support, plus Daniela. I haven't managed to persuade her to join yet though; how long does it usually take?
IIRC, it's something like 2 days of real time, checking back at the Prison every 8 hours, unless you do things to intervene. That is, if you complete a battle, it'll let you visit the Prison again. Also, if you bribe them with whatever they ask for, you get them instantly (cost also goes down with each persuasion attempt).
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiOn my Revelation playthrough, i'd like some advice on pairs I should go for. Some I have locked in:
- Kaeden + Kagero (Building a Poison/Savage/Grisly skill setup for Selkie)
- Keaton + Beruka (Same with Veloura)
- Obero + Benny (I like the idea of putting Seal skills onto a tank like Benny and Ignatus)
- Hayato + Felica (Not S Ranked them yet, I figured Rajhat could benefit from the magic growth)
- Rinkah + Ryoma/Rinkah + Charolette A+ (Advice from the Game Breaker page, and Rinkah could benefit from Vantage and Samurai classes)
- Charolette + Xander (Popular choice from what i've heard)
So I want to know what are good parings otherwise, particularly for male Corrin (Samurai alt class) and Takumi.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...@mariovsonic999
Maniac/Lunatic is totally possible with the team you have
Malice may need an immediate promotion for Anri's Way but the rest of your team looks solid for the most part
Enjoyment and Excitement!@RAlexa: If Lewyn isn't an option, then you can go for my OTP, Azelle X Tailtiu. There's also Lex...
Ced will usually turn out great at any rate if you don't do Lewyn X Erinys, therefore you can focus on a physical husband. Jamke or Naoise came to mind.
Actually who're you pairing Lewyn with?
I'm not entirely sure how to get Poison Strike onto Velouria, or Savage Blow onto Selkie. They don't seem to have supports that give them those skills.
If you don't A+ Rank Takumi with his retainer buddy or Ryoma, maybe consider marrying him to Hana? I've heard Takumi has a unique outfit for Swordmaster.
Since you've already picked someone for Beruka, see if you can get Camilla married to someone who can pass down Life or Death or a Faire skill (or both). I'd say that combining that with Trample turns the resulting child into a Glass Cannon, but cannon is underselling a whopping 20 bonus damage on unmounted units.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Obviously Silvia. Corpul OP.
Where there's life, there's hope.I'll admit I kinda cheated; I used all three Dragon Veins, which brought Danirela down to 3 HP before I even got to her; Orochi brought her in in one hit.
Talk about success

Okay, I checked, and yeah. I was expecting full supports for all kids like in Awakening (At least I think you could support all the kids with each other in Awakening...) but Velouria can't support Asugi, and Selkie can't support Percy. Still, Grisly Wound + Poison or Savage is nothing to sneeze at. Although that bit on Game Breaker should probably be removed.
So now there's Corrin and Azura's supports that I want to look into.

A corpse should be left well enough alone...It feels good when Lachesis deals a killing blow on Beowolf's buddy, for so many reasons.
Where there's life, there's hope.Conquest has already shown how potent stacking poison skills is.
You could get the triple poison abilities if Corrin or Kana gets involved. First combo that comes to mind is Corrin marrying Keaton and passing down Poison Strike (either by A rank with Kagero or by having Ninja subclass); Both M!Kana and Velouria can support with Percy to get Wyvern Rider.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. There's also Saizo getting the combo that could reduce 60% HP: his personal skill, Poison Strike, and Savage Blow. He'll need F!Corrin Wyvern Rider or Beruka to get the set.
Fire Emblem Heroes Code: 4547311645 Fate/Grand Order Code: 188037115Emperor: Nope. Awakening kids can all marry eligible partners, but there's generally only two same-sex supports for any given non-Robin character. Even Morgan doesn't get the Robin treatment with the rest of the kids.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiFates' kids are restricted by the same limited cross-cultural support options that their parents are; each kid has one platonic support and two romantic supports with opposite-nation kids.
The exceptions being Kana, Sophie, Shigure, Midori, and Dwyer since they're route-neutral.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!THE DEMON KING HAS FALLEN, LONG LIVE KING EPHRAIM
i'm a bit disappointed Erika didnt have unique dialogue with Lyon, guess that's only on her route
my favorite thing is that i had rennac as a filler member to loot the last two chests, so he was both Just There both in-story and out of it
whoa demon king had a NAME
might do erika's route later, gonna make my units Different Classes (hopefully Ross the Warrior is just as good as Ross the Berserker)

Never have I been more upset to see a lucky crit. Corinne accidentally wiped out Lloyd before I could capture him.
I always get crits/skill procs when they're completely unnecesarry, but at least I haven't have been that cursed with my crit luck. Yet.
This is why Bronze/Brass's inability to crit isn't always a bad thing.

Who would you marry Tiltyou and Erin if you don't marry them to Lewin? Pick one and only one.
