This is a thread for people who will not be or have not been on the site for a while, whether due to real life or to resist an internet addiction, the latter of which is encouraged within reason. Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

i'm working on getting some real life things in order (nothing serious or vital, just planning for future success) and tvt + its troper Skype chats is taking a huge amount of my time, which reall should be spent working on various things (one of which, ironically enough, is the first act of my own game's reboot) but i'm going to be lying low for a few days. shouldn't be gone too long, just need a breather.

Okay, so... if you have been paying attention I haven't been appearing in as many threads now as I used to. There is a reason for this, it's because I took some time off a while back and currently I am likely to just plain have less time in general. I haven't gotten around to it yet but I am likely to remove several threads from my watchlist in the coming days.
You see.... I am in college now. Before taking that time off it took me an hour and half, minimum, to check all those threads in my Watchlist that had updated every time I awakened each morning. It's very likely that if I tried that now it would take me the entire rest of the day. Spending that much time on this site when I don't even comment on all the threads I follow is, to be honest, completely unnaceptable.
I won't dissapear entirely but you won't see me posting as often or as in many varied topics as earlier.
I will still, as always, be reachable through PM though.
