It's the story of Corpse Party that's dangerous, not any particular gameplay mechanic.
So apparently, the Negima anime's (both the Shaft and XEBEC ones), along with the OVA's are getting a blu-ray re-releases in the lead up to the UQ Holder anime. They're each getting reprints of the gold foiled pactio cards that went with the limited edition of volume 37, which is kinda cool.
I honestly want the pactio cards, but that's really about it.
Random question for an AU fic: in you guys opinion, in a situation where Negi was Asuna's father (just roll with me on this one), who in the entire Negimaverse would likely have been her mother?
Since time-travel is involved by necessity, Chao Lingshen. Or maybe the master of the gravekeeper's palace, if Negi was the one who time traveled.

No time travel, it's a weird Au. Basically, Asuna is a normal girl, but Negi is her dad (biological). I'm trying to figure out a mother before I default on Chisame from OM's influence.

In that case, Takahata, in a noodle incident nobody wants to talk about but keeps getting brought up.
Or is this one of those "normal AU" things, with the only difference being random people's ages and that everyone is a muggle?
Does Asuna match the rest of 3-A in age? Because if not, my first gut instinct would be to say Ayaka.
More like 'Super AU', where Asuna is in hero school and is Negi's daughter. Some of what would have been 3-A are with him (Hakase for certain), but I haven't decided who exactly yet, though my plan is any other 3-A students that show up as Asuna's schoolmates are secretly her half-sisters.

...Negi is going to be a Nagi clone, isn't he.
Or Nagi is a brain-damaged Negi clone that got dropped in the past somehow.
Magey, you got some bad crack this time. Whoever sold you that needs to be shot.
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!I make it myself, thank you very much. The best form of quality control!
So you get where I'm coming from, in the backstory Negi is a Big Good known by his Boss Subtitle of 'The Harem King'. He's semiretired being minister of education now, and thus not really in the story, but he has a lot of kids, and one of them is Asuna. I'm just trying to figure out who'd be a good birth mother for her. Right now, the choices are Arika (May Darkenning Always Be Remembered), Chisame (blame OM), Chao Lingshen (you know who you are), Ayaka (ditto), Narusegawa Naru and Alice Liddell (again, OM's fault).
I'm with Skorm. I figure when making up offspring for a character (and this is kind of the same thing except in reverse), you want someone different enough from the parent to be interesting but similar enough that it's not bizarre that they're related. Ayaka seems to fit the bill.
Secondary concern: if Negi was going to have a Boss Subtitle about his harem lord status, I would've expected something more like "Harem Emperor" or "Harem God".
Come on, you think that title fits Issei Hyoudou? He's at least a "Harem Emperor" (with a side title of "Breast Dragon Emperor"), thank you very much.
Of course, should Negi ever actually get clued in on just how powerful his own Chick Magnetism is and actively exploit it... well, Issei will have to fight tooth and nail to hold on to his title. Or prevent Negi from claiming an even higher title, like (as you suggested) "Harem God" (which logically should be at the time held by Keima Katsuragi).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. The difference is that "Harem King" is a self-proclaimed title/ideal that Issei aspires to in canon, hence why I give him dibs on that title. Similarly, Negi gets "Harem Emperor" because I'm reasonably sure that Negi's harem (or at least, his legion of admirers) is a great deal larger than Issei's.
Found a hilarious Spider-man fic in which Peter Parker accidentally gets hired by HYDRA. And that got me thinking: are there any Negima fics in which Negi joins a villainous organization without realizing their true nature?
Harder to pull off in straight Negima than in Marvel, because the former only really has one villainous organization of note and it knows damn well who the redheaded kid with the bandaged staff is.
So have Negi join PETA.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, let's not get too crazy here.
Actually, given all the times OM has Champ cry animal abuse, I could see the furry little perv tricking Negi into joining.
Fate Grand Order players will know me as Ryusei-Go.Oh, that's a carry-over from the SHAFT anime, whenever Asuna would grab Chamo's head and shake it, he'd cry "Animal abuse!"
Course, the little guy's a fairy, so technically, it can't apply to him.
No.
<plucks an appropiate item from his very huge and very diverse virtual Porn Stash and throws it to distract Chamo>
That's one problem solved.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Okay, not PETA. Have him approach the Trump administration for support on the space elevator.
He might be able to pull that off, actually. NASA's come out nearly unscathed by the current administration. He just has to not let on that it's supposed to help foreigners.
Does that mean some games would never have been made because of their potential for chaos and death? Or would they have been created because everyone needed to be warned of that potential?
Corpse Party being an example. I am sure other people can think of other examples.
