I don't even care if Naruto has gone to shit; I've long ago given up any hope on Kishimoto actually going back to being a good writer. The only thing keeping me genuinely interested is that I always finish what I started, no matter how long it takes. And hey, who knows if in the huge morass of badness I may find a few shining gems that make the whole thing the "it's bearable, at least" kind of worthwhile? Or even inspire me?

Also, Kishimoto was never a good writer, but he was writing what was within his abilities to write. Then he grew too ambitious and it resulted in:
Sasuke: Karma Houdini to the point that I wouldn't be surprised if he's somehow made Hokage at the end. He's been given dozens of plot gimmes, pulled dozens of things out of his ass and is overall an unsympathetic prick. The worst part is that he was the sole member of Team 7 that wasn't braindead in the fight against Kaguya.
Obito: Most Unintentionally Unsympathetic character ever. He is an irredeemable monster. When he died he went to heaven and then somehow anally raped the laws of common sense to come back as a ghost to give Kakashi his Sharingan.
Madara: Most overpowered villain in the entire manga. Still stands completely undefeated, and the author had to come up with Kaguya's revival because Madara could not possibly be defeated. He was steamrolling Naruto and Sasuke without much difficulty.
Kaguya: Worse than the Lifemaker. She was defeated, easily, in 10 chapters, all of which she spent showing the obscenely powerful abilities that SHOULD have won her the fight nigh-instantly, but didn't because she's the most incompetent person in the entire manga, and given that this manga includes Naruto, that's saying something. She's made of suck, plain and simple.
My complaint is it seems Kishimoto cribbed every fanfic to come out since the timeskip for his ending. Seriously, the talking sleeve shadow with mommy issues was the only original thing going for him, and it wasn't even any good.

What I mean is, your crack is of a high enough grade that you don't really need to state Kishimoto's is inferior - that's sort of obvious to anyone following this thread.
Ah... well, regardless, the crack Kishimoto got is even more low quality than usual. That whole fight has the pacing of one of the anime fillers. The 1 episode ones that start out as a comedy and only end in a fight to fill out their rasengan quota.

“We're actresses, damn it!” Purin said, slamming her fist on the table of the diner they were in. Her fist splattered. “Classically trained actresses! Being background scenery is beneath us!”
“We said the same thing about porn last month,” Suramui said.
They all sighed.
“Still no word from Darkenning about whether we'd get a cameo in his latest Deca-verse thing?” Ameko said hopefully. “I really liked working with Makie-san.”
“I heard he's working on another project,” Purin said glumly.
They all sighed.
“There's a job to be Flubber's stunt double,” Ameko said.
“That's from 1998,” Suramui said.
“Wait! I got it!” Ameko cried. “There's a part, but we'll have to dye for it!”
“What is it?” Purin asked excitedly.
“I'm not sure you'll like it,” Ameko said. “It's porn...”
“I don't care, we need a job!” Purin cried. “What is it?”
“Semen stunt double,” Ameko said. “For close ups.”
There was a pause.
“Maybe we can get a job in those Monster Girl Quest games,” Suramui suggested as Purin dissolved into a puddle of despair. “I hear they've got a lot of slime monster scenes...”
Purin just cried.

Negima's plot revolved around using administrator privileges on the planet. I'm not convinced that's less ridiculous.
Nice thing about the Enchildada is that we got a nice long look at one of the fantasy worlds. Having that gave the Lotus-Eater Machine a bit more oomph than if we'd just seen quick glimpses for all of them.
@Immi: Ah, but this is not simply the Dark Evangel of old, who smote only those foolish enough to stand against her. That Mistress of Puppets would never have drained a child dry. She's now a crueler, more hateful being, one forged in the merciless flames of...middle school.
@slime girls: In a coincidence that would have Horatio Alger and Charles Dickens rolling their eyes at each other, when the girls show up for work at whatever they decide they can sink to, ninjas try to kidnap the president of the company that hired them. They take advantage of the known ninja weakness against tentacle monsters and are rewarded with high-paying sinecures and live happily ever after.

To be fair, the plot as a whole starts derailing as soon as it becomes about that.

Adding to what NDC said, that plot point came in pretty late to begin with, and there were at least several other plot threads around to keep it from becoming a monotonous mess. Its only when that issue came up and overshadowed/tossed everything else under the rug is when things started going downhill.
Even ignoring the fact that the Lifemaker's version of it is far more benign and well intentioned then that nightmarish weed what's-her-face uses? Given that its his/her attempt to solve something that arguably has far worse consequences for multiple worlds (And really, UQ Holder does nothing to actually make it seem like it was the worst alternative) while still keeping his/her own sanity somewhat in check, I'm not convinced.
