Crossbows being shot in my direction? Time to bail out of there, before I suffer stray shots. "Well excuse me, miss!"

Action: Off of the abearmination and retreat towards Trip's direction! These golems should be enough to divert it!

I use a combination of my arms and some well placed attacks to push the shades into the fire, or at least try to get them as close as possible to it.

Alternatively, throwing them at guards with the yellow pots to iunvoke a lil' KABOOM isn't too bad an idea either.

Let's throw him in the fire said Thomas and Alfred.

Turn 32

First time posts for this session require you to state a race and class of a Dnd/Fantasy RPG variety. This is an RTD with some continuity and I want to make sure you don't show up with space-themed stuff when that doesn't fit with the general theme. I also recommend reading through my previous posts to get a sense of how I run things and some of the things you don't want to do. You'll also get a sense of the stuff that's going on by doing so.

The Space Phantom: (6) As there doesn’t seem to be much to do here, you head back up into the air and head off in the direction of the caravan and the mountain village. You eventually pass the caravan. Once you return, you find a large group of people and carts gathered at the base of the mountain. You swoop on down towards the front of this group, but you seem to be descending a bit too steeply for comfort. You crash right into the ground, and both you and Sam tumble over. From what you can see, the bike seems to be wedged into the ground, and the front tire has bent inward. You have also sprained your left arm on the landing. You hear Sam cry out, "Ya watch yer ridin’ there pardner! Ya gone done and sprained me ankle!"

From behind you, you hear people talking amongst themselves. Several of them complain that they have no idea where to go.

Lord Herobrine: (5) You speak with the priestess and show her the necklace. She says, "The necklace you bear seems elven in construction. Perhaps it belonged to one of the elven clans of old, but why would a spirit such as yourself traverse on such desecrated grounds? Still, that doesn’t quite explain your marks. As to your other question, spirits such as yourself do not heal the same way we mortals do. Once you have passed the realm of the living, our remedies become a bane to your very essence. A different solution becomes necessary. Come, follow me."

The priestess leads you towards the central hut, and you follow. Once inside, you find a variety of shells dangling on strings along the walls. A circular stone platform sits at the center of the room, engraved with a picture of a snail’s shell. Several small stone pots of swirling red/black design sit on wooden platforms lining the circumference. A glowing orb hovers over the center of the room.

After obtaining one of the pots, the priestess speaks to you once more, "This might be able to help you. It is a strange dark mixture meant to soothe those whose souls still linger amongst the living. This came into our hands long ago when an orc shaman had visited these lands. Spirits don’t come very often, and they usually don’t come wounded like yourself. It would be no burden upon us that you should use it." You take it and then open it, finding a blackish liquid inside. Trusting the priestess’s words, you drink it, and shortly after, your essence seems to have recovered. "The symbol borne on your right hand seems to be a variant of what we call the unisign. It is nothing but a foul curse, bringing nothing but misery to those who have it. It shall corrupt any magic you may possess, and demons will flock to you no matter where you go. Ordinarily, I would be able to remove it, but the magic binding your seal is much stronger than I am capable of handling. Even unicorns are not capable of such a feat, though I have yet to see what they can do should they flock together. I don’t know anything about the symbol on your other hand, but I would not wish to know what foul attributes it may possess.

"You would best leave this village before your presence endangers us all. Judging by the strength of your bonds, I fear you may have incurred the wrath of the fell goddess, who created the unicorns long ago. To speak her name would only invite misfortune. I don’t know how much you know about the state of the cosmos, but perhaps it would be best if I told you. When Shari lifted the earth from the waters, and Lor shaped the sun and the heavens, the fell goddess had grown hateful of their creations and made the unicorns from the intestines of their daughters and sons. The feel goddess is nothing but spiteful, and from the beginnings of time all evil in this world has stemmed from her hateful will. The elves, who came to these lands long ago, had been taken in by her lies and worshiped her with idols. They have committed things I would dare not repeat in her name. Even to this day, some elves still cling to her name, wrongly attributing the deeds of the sister goddesses in her wretched name. Head to the lands of the orcs, the realm of the Laguz, the desert kingdom, or the lands where the temples reach the skies and villages sprawl for miles. No matter where you go, you may find someone strong enough to remove your curse."

Rivux: (3) You speak to the armored warrior. She says, "Trespassing? I wouldn’t say that. You’re simply a variable we haven’t yet accounted for." She fires a bolt at you and you try shifting to the side. Unfortunately, the projectile strikes right into the right side of your chest. As determined beforehand, you cry out from the pain. Shortly after, the warrior starts levitating into the air.
Trip (Free); K.U.B.S. Abomination (2): Cathari is too lazy to repost stuff so you can look at Nes’s previous post to see dialogue and stuff. As NES is a player as opposed to someone ingrained into the world, whether or not he accepts your request is based entirely on his volition. You probably should have tried something else, such as dealing with the fetus eating at your leg. However, the kobold skirmisher pulls out a short-sword and hacks at the fetus lodge on your leg. Seeing as there’s nothing else to do at the moment, you head towards the rest of the group. Should you look back, you’ll find that Schierke has emerged from the forest and seems to be powering up one of the golems once more. As the golems continue firing their weapons, the charged golem fires an arc of lightning at the abomination, forcing you to the ground. The blast also seems to have knocked off about a quarter of the abomination’s frontal armor. The dwarf tries retreating to your position. From behind, you hear the skirmisher yell, "Shit, shit, shit!" just as the dwarf collides with him. They tumble over each other, and you see that the dwarf’s mouth has become quite bloody from slamming against the shield. During this time, you also warn the dwarf about the witch.
NE Sgamer 190 (6); K.U.B.S. Abomination (2): Seeing as you don’t want to be hit by a stray bolt, you jump down from the abomination and land. As you begin to run back towards the mage, you see the abomination begin to reassemble its arms. From behind, you hear the snaps of the crossbows as the golems fire at the abomination. Should you turn, you’ll see the MAD SCIENTIST channel some sort of bluish stream of energy towards one of the golems. A set of blue, transparent armor manifests around it and its left hand transforms into some sort of ringed rod. It shoots a massive streak of lighting at the abomination, and the soundwave propels you forward and nearly deafens you. The lightning cuts into the golden armor, and a quarter of the front portion falls off. As you continue running forward, leaping across the stream, you can barely hear a scream in front of you, "Shit, shit, shit!"

Right in front of you, you see the skirmisher raise his shield upward and you tumble right into him. The top of the shield strikes right into your jaw, causing you to bite down hard on your tongue. Additionally, you seem to have twisted your right knee as well. Up ahead, the mage mentions that you shouldn’t try fighting the witch, whatever that refers to.

No1mustevarno: (1) You try calling out to the bird/human hybrids, but they don’t seem to hear you. You keep yelling as loud as you can but this doesn’t seem to be working. After about a minute, you feel something strike into your back and you tumble forward. Shortly after, you feel something pull you backwards from your legs. Should you turn around to look, you see two trolls with slings pulling you. Two more skip alongside wielding bone clubs. One of them whispers, "Quickly, before the Laguz gets to us!"
Kayne: (3) You pick up the shade next to you and throw him into the fire. He collides with the wall and screams as he burns to death. However, as you had been looking away, the guard still standing charges forward and slices you in your right arm. By then, the rest of the skirmishing guards have moved in and surround you, positioned such that they don’t stand between you and the fire.
Philosopher: (3) You speak with the guards. To your side, Marisa seems to be struggling to keep her hands away from her knives. The first one says, "That old loon, Xaktu? Hmm… Alright, lets make sure these two get an escort."

The other guard turns to one of the civilians and says, "You, get over to the city watch quarters and tell them we need an escort at the gate!" Said orc runs off. Several minutes later, you see four more orc spearmen run towards your position.

One of the incoming guards mutters to one of the others, "Damn, that sap was right about having some strange customers." The original two guards head back towards their posts.

Another one of your escorts says, "Alright, where do you need to be going?"

B Ra Hi An 1: (6) You decide to follow the swordsman going off on his own. As you try to make sure nobody will object, you sneak away unseen by the rest of the party. As the swordsman walks out of the edge of the forest, you keep your distance far behind him to avoid provoking his wrath and to watch out for any potential ambushes. After a few minutes, you see the swordsman make his way on top of a small hill while you watch from behind a tree. As he stops to look around, you feel something slam against your side and throw you to the ground. When you turn to look, a shade soldier, holding his shield right at your torso, pulls out a saber and prepares for a lethal blow. The swordsman doesn’t seem to have noticed this skirmish.

The Space Phantom: (2) You try pulling your bike out of the ground. Unfortunately, it seems to be stuck tight in there despite the fact its only buried in dirt. Sam is too busy screaming over his injuries to assist you, and the large crowd of people still remain in a state of confusion. From within, you see people start moving out of the way as the woman with the bird mask walks toward your position.
Rivux: (2) You shout your bizarre statement at the armored warrior as you make a run towards the forest to get to cover. Although your wording confuses her for a moment, she continues pursuing you, having no problems matching your speed. You hear a snap and then feel a sharp pain in your front, right leg, causing you to tip forward about three-quarters the way to the forest. You try standing up, but you find it somewhat difficult.
Lord Herobrine: (4) Considering you have no idea where these places are or how far they are, the only reason you have enough supplies is because you’re a ghost and don’t necessarily need to eat/drink. You thank the priestess and ask where you could find the aforementioned location. She responds, "I am not sure myself where it is, but when a traveler came from that land, it is said he traveled alongside the mountains. You must continue north along this range and go wherever it may lead you."
Philosopher: (5) You speak to the guards. The escort immediately responds, "No, no, no. Xaktu is our village shaman. Qanis-Jindu is the one who oversees this village. It is strange that you say you have business with the shaman and not know his name. But still, you are in luck. Qanis is currently at Xaktu’s home seeking council. We shall lead you there." As the escorts lead you to the shaman’s hut, you take a moment to try and calm Marisa down. It seems to have worked, as the witch no longer looks like she wants to stab everyone in sight. After a few minutes of walking, the lead guard walks up to the entrance of the hut and knocks.

From inside, you hear someone say, "You seem to have more visitors."

You hear the shaman’s voice, "I’M NOT IN HERE!"

"I shall let them in." The door opens, and you see an orc wearing a cape made from a tiger. "Watchmen, what business do you have? And who are these two?" When you look inside, you cannot seem to find the shaman.

The lead guard says, "These two wish to speak with you and Xaktu."

"Humans eh? Well, Xaktu seems to have disappeared just a few seconds ago, so there’s not much I can do about him. Oh…" Marisa suddenly teleports into the room while seeming to grab onto something. A second after, clouds of steam burst out and you see the shaman appear before you as Marisa grabs his right arm.

The shaman screams for a few seconds, and then turns to you, "Oh… uh… you have returned. Right. You have it right?" You toss the ivory talisman to the shaman and he continues, "R-Right. The deal! Of course! Just hold on." Xaktu makes some sort of incantation, drawing some sort of black haze from his palms towards your tiger corpse. In the meantime, the chief seems to watch while grasping his beard. The corpse removes itself from you and then begins to reform. After about a minute, the fully formed tiger lands on the ground and turns towards you. "Okay. That’s done. Can I go now?"

Qanis-Jindu turns to you and says, "Well, that was certainly interesting. Now, for what reason do you two wish to see me?"

Kayne: (4) You take a moment to retrieve your axe and then make a spinning swing against the guards. Almost immediately, your axe cleaves a guard that moved somewhat behind you right at the waist before he can move his shield. However, once your momentum drives your axe towards the next soldier, it strikes right at his shield. Before said guard can push you into the fire, you pull out your weapon and step towards the cave entrance. The other two guards move slightly out of the way, opening you to the shade with the firebombs.
