That's Just A Face And A Caption in its purest form. The picture needs to convey smug, conniving deviousness of the most loathsome kind to be appropriate for this page.

What's precedent ever done for us?... I don't think the current one portrays "conniving deviousness of the words kind" either. It's arguably just as JAFAAC.
Never said it did. Just that that's what we need to be aiming for here.
What's precedent ever done for us?Sir Hiss might work.
He's already the page image.
What's precedent ever done for us?Oh, okay. Fantastic research by Boobus Tuber.
I think Luc Rousseau◊ simply radiates smugness.
... wut.
What's precedent ever done for us?NVM it was my attempt to show the smug-ness and making sure its a villian with out resorting to a JAFAAC.. failed.
Tired.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Luc definitely looks smug as all hell.
Fight smart, not fair.... ooh, Luc looks like a good example.
Damn, it's like someone summoned the Anthropomorphic Personification of slimy smugness.
Smug but not conniving.
It's certainly not any better than the one already up there, which isn't bad at all.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. How about the pic currently on The Starscream (which is gonna be removed soon anyway)? The nasty little smirk indicates smugness, the chin-stroking indicates connivingness.
EDIT: Never mind

I've gotta say that Luc doesn't look very smug to me.
This post was thumped by the Shillelagh of Whackingness
Quattro from Magical Girl Lyricalnanoha is the first face that sprang to mind.

^ The crying woman or the girl trying to comfort her? Neither of them looks very smug.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI can't find an image online, but in Lost Odyssey there is a cinematic in which the head of a hissing snake overlays the smug face of Gongora, the game's Big Bad. That might work, if I can find an image.
I interpreted the girl on the right as trying to hurt the crying girl, not comfort her @ shimaspawn
That said, it really isn't the best picture... maybe I should replace my Falcone mention with the Maroni mention, Carmine Falcone wasn't mentioned as a Smug Snake on the Batman Begins trope list until I mentioned him, whereas Maroni WAS mentioned as one on The Dark Knight's trope list before I mentioned him, with "look at that smile" in the explanation...
... it's bad enough that the name sounds like something that could easily have it confused for an Animal Stereotypes trope. The Visual Pun for the image sounds like something that could only throw people off further. Perhaps using a human example could fix that?
... hmm, maybe Maroni◊ from The Dark Knight? He's listed as one on the TDK trope list and the explanation given is a link to that picture, saying "just look at that smile"
