How do you think he is?

I personally don't like him. Then again, people probably got that from my review...

He gets too butthurt easily.

When Retsupurae made an MST video around an episode of his Ghost Hunters ripoff Haunted Investigators spinoff, he DMCA'd the video off You Tube and actually managed to get them banned for a few months. It can still be viewed on their Viddler page, though.

I've watched some of his videos, during times where my bipolar disorder kicks in and I suddenly are stricken with unshakable boredom and need to kill some time until I swing back the other way. At best I'd call him an inferior substitute for AVGN, at worst a talentless attention-whoring charleton. He seems to not grasp the difference between style and substance, and as it happens he has none to offer of the latter and ripped off the former from a man much better at it than he is. I find his reviews typically not very funny and often just boring. His gimmicks involving guest star characters are awful, and he has a tendency to make obvious mistakes.

I could swear AVGN line about how "the hearts do anything BUT restore health" in pt 1 of his Castlevania review to be a Take That! at IG, who made that mistake in one of his videos.

His ego, his research mistakes, and overall joke stealing make him difficult to like, the reviews are, yes, incredibly boring.

I have a feeling his fanbase is mostly composed of Trolls for some reason.

I have a easy time believing that.

Huh, thanks for showing me that.

Just watching his reviews makes me... JUST PLAIN MAD, in fact, his stupid jokes manage to infuriate me.

Has anything he did infuriate you?

I tried to watch his review of Brawl.

I just didn't get through it. I just decided partway through that I just plain didn't want to watch it. Or anything.

I love how in his Final Fantasy III DS review (which he actually liked, startling me) he said that he can't wait for Final Fantasy V to come out, and I'm like, yeah, FFV came out on the GBA before FFIII on DS, try again next time.

The newest review of the Kool-Aid Man, I think I got a little stupider just watching it, my god, he's gotten impossibly worse, just, dear GOD.

"Why does this always happen on my show?", THAT. WAS. PAINFUL.

To be honest, he's the guy who got me interested in Contra.

I like him

I hate him, and yet, I just can't stop watching him. It's kind of a Guilty Pleasure.

But you can like him, Your Mileage May Vary.

I find it funny how unfunny much of Bores work is. For example, the first "Chris and Scottie Roadtrip" and "Back to the Past". Some of it lies in So Bad, It's Good territory.

Most of it is just plain boring and unimaginative, however. And his reviews just plain suck.

Chris Bores Me

All I'm going off of is the blog, because I don't want to watch the actual reviews yet.

Apparently he has really bad taste in movies? He said that Watchmen "wasn't as bad as Pulp Fiction" or something. That's dumb. I can understand not liking a movie that's widely considered awesome. I mean, I don't like The Godfather because I hated Michael Corleone. And that isn't much of a criticism, because he's a Villain Protagonist. But you can't just make an offhand remark disparaging one of the most important films of the 90s.

I disagree with the blogger, though. Watchmen was kind of an eh movie. Some of the scenes worked really well as a comic, but were pretty stupid in the movie (the sex scene where they accidentally turned on the flamethrower comes to mind). And they ratcheted up the gore level to an unnecessary factor.

Anyway, just a ramble...

I think the movie reviews (from what I've seen) are far from the dumbest stuff he's put out. Usually that's the game reviews themselves.

Am I alone with my view tha the Watchmen movie sucked colossaly?

Probably not, but the movie seems to be a Your Milage May Vary situation.
