The point of this thread is to list your favorite tropers and say what makes you like them so much. Please be specific; we already have Gushing About Shows You Like if you want to gush about TV Tropes or the Forums in general.
EDIT: Chopped the list because it's now quite outdated, and there are some comments in here that only made sense back in 2009 and may have even been a bit creepy.

I'll have to gush to Ello for the incredible amount of sacrifice put into getting Christmas gifts for everyone this year. So much painstaking effort put in to finding everyone something they'd like,when no one else in the family really was in a position to do much.
Obvious gush to Musey for being such a wonderful girlfriend,I'm not sure I would've had the motivation to do what I did this semester without her especially considering how August turned out.

First group gush goes to the Troper Shipping and Dating Service thread. While we never talk, the good times I had there are hard to forget. Second group gush to the Hangout Thread, who are all friendly and welcoming. Third group gush to anyone who has helped me but I have failed to mention.
Thank you, Tape, for helping to guide me so I further understand myself. Ramuf, I never really had anyone to relate to, and chatting with you is a pleasure. The Mike, thanks for your advice and openness to listen too.

This may sound superficial, but I personally have to state that I like this community as a whole. They're a stark contrast from the kind of community that I was initially expecting. Always helpful, rarely if ever rude, and interesting to say the least. I'm honestly surprised that I haven't even annoyed anyone yet, although that might just be a construct of my mind bothering me for reasons I can't quite fathom just yet.
