I had a good day today. :) I still hope the weekend comes soon, though. I'm going to visit the House on the Rock.

Heyo, back at it again with the schoolwork. I got a couple weeks off between terms.

That assessment I crammed out in 3 days, surprisingly, didn't do so well. Complaints were fairly chill, but I missed a substantial part of one of the tasks. It's all been fixed before morning tea, and my second attempt is already uploaded. No idea what I'm going to do from here, I'll do some touch-typing stuff I guess.

Also, Ash Vs Evil Dead got cancelled. I'm super bummed out about that.

Oh man, oh geez. I only have seven weeks left.

The girl I have quietly had a crush on since we were both 8 years old not only agreed to a date. . . she was the one to ask and break the ice.

We're both so shy around each other that apparently neither of us had the nerve to say something to the other for. . .a while now.

Two hours' worth of Darksiders let's play rendering right now. Maybe I should leave it running and go to sleep.

Rendering in the sense of your greenscreen overlay, or is it rendering a high-quality replay from the game data?

Rendering in the sense of split video files with intros, overlays and everything. I had to cut a two-hour video into 20-minute clips, add my watermark, occasional Infomercial and Crawl as usual, and I'm finally done (Hit Film Express allows you to batch save the results, so you don't have to wait for a video to render/save before you start working on the next one).

And tomorrow evening, I'm running a Far Cry 5 livestream, since it's bossfight time.

Over the last couple weeks one applied and interviewed for a full time position at the Blue Cross of Idaho office I currently temp at. Today should be there day I find out whether I got it or not.

I'm optimistic, but trying not to let my hopes get too high.

Whew. I managed to slap together a special intro for the boss fight livestream, and maybe I'll even manage to do subtitles for some of the old videos.

I'm about to head to one of my favorite museums: the House on the Rock. Wish me luck! :)

I didn't hear back on the job yesterday. But I'm taking that to mean it's still being discussed, as my supervisor's good enough she'd have told me of a decision one way or the other.

Just finished watching the 144th Kentucky Derby. Muddiest track in the history of the race. The favorite, Justify, won.

Video rendering is hell.

Also hell is the extension that I have a paid subscription to only suggesting a whopping two tags for a youtube upload.

Edit: And now I need to restart rendering the second video because the electricity went out for a second a few minutes after I posted this -_-

FFFFUUUU—

My boyfriend hurt his back the other day. He has sciatica. An irritated nerve caused a major muscle spasm. So, I'm taking care of him, and doing all the housework. (Not used to doing that anymore, since he's awesome and helpful)

I finally got my hair cut back to the exact same length it is in my avatar. (My 2013 length. I'd been mostly letting it grow since then.) It looks much better. It's been the first time in years I've been satisfied with how it looks.

So cool, Wheezy !

I've seen Manly Badass Hero's LP of Bokko Youchien and I just made the page for it ! I like that he forgot the action happened at a kindergarten until the end of the game. The page's far from perfect as there was a spoiler quote that was more than ten lines long so I put it in a folder , and it's kind of a swiss cheese, but well, it's a short story so spoiler policy is a bit difficult to maintain (I adopted "Yes, Koyomi's abusive behavior is non-spoiler but her reasons is" ; was that good ?).

Also updated Manly's page with some delicious red links (among others). Tons of lil'games to make pages for !

edit: I'm crushing this course. I want to move onto Excel stuff, but my teacher wants to teach that as a class so I'm stuck with some throwaway activities right now. I started a whole new unit at her suggestion, and it has spreadsheets too so I'm not able to do the assessment right now. I'm doing really well, so I'm gonna chill on here for a while - I have a couple more things to do, but I'm more or less good for the time being.

The number of days I have left to finish and publish my seventh novel is a magic number: 42. ;)

Today is the day. The day my little sister gets married in the Mount Timpanogos Utah temple for time and all eternity.

Am I a little disappointed I'm not married yet? Sure, but at the same time I'm glad I'm not because I am so not ready for it yet. Besides, why let a silly thing like the order in which people get married get in the way of celebrating the fact that my little sister is taking a big step in life?

Congratulations and good luck to your sister! And I get where you're coming from. Mixed feelings can be hard sometimes.

Sis is married now. I cried, especially when she sang The Wind Beneath My Wings to Mom. It's a rather special song to my mother, as the movie Beaches came out around the time her mom was dying of cancer.

At last check in, she and hubby are traversing Death Valley on their way to LA to enjoy a honeymoon at Disneyland, Legoland, and Sea World.
