In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

First I read "a Finn".
Or perhaps the author's had some great relationship and is drunk on love another way. But wish-fulfillment is more common.
x5: Hands are impossible to draw. Too many joints.
Apparently artists used to charge extra for drawing them in portraits (hence why a lot of historical figures seemed to like keeping them in their coats).
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerAnd the funny thing is, artists always have a perfectly example of a hand within arm's reach.
Kinda hard to draw something that's attached to you, though. There's only so many angles from which you can view it without resorting to crazy double mirror shenanigans.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...So I guess I'm weird in the fact I never really had trouble drawing hands?
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseYou're either God or Satan, Bacon.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerWell, if you know anything about my avatar, you should know which one I am.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseWhen I was going home from work, I saw the voice actor who voiced, among others, The Red Guy, Nathan Drake and Scolar Visari.
Curiously, he was at the newly opened restaurant next to my workplace, and not the trendy Italian bistro where I once saw Nergal.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI just copypaste and trace a ref when it gets too hard (read: every fucking time).
Boooooo, lame. Tia Dalma is a villain in book 5 of Kingdom Keepers.
She wasn't evil in Pirates Of The Caribbean. Not REALLY. Not like this. I'm so offended that I'm going to hold a grudge against the author even as I finish reading this septology...

Also reading a book called The Defining Decade: Why your twenties matter-and how to make the most of them.
It's telling new that if I haven't figured out my life before I'm 30, I'm going to end up bitter and miserable.
But then I guess it's a good thing I'm reading it.
I just saw it on one of the sorting shelves, and not even MY shelves. If it helps, I'll have a guardian angel to thank.
If it doesn't, then Chance is a jerk.
Some hard random Google-work to do, then!

I just got my first package at my new address.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerWell, I'm out of luck then. Kinda wasted my twenties.
Wasting my twenties as we speak.

I was given that book as a high school graduation present. I'm 26 and four years out of college and I still haven't opened it.
Fresh-eyed movie blogTrying to pick up Dynasty Warriors again after not playing it in a long time, and I'm still not sure if this is my jam. Gameplay's way too frantic for my tastes, as I feel I have just spent half an hour flailing about.
It's my birthday! I'm 26.
I went and bought myself a whole bunch of comics; one of my friends was thoughtful and bought me some art supplies, one sent me corgi photos, one had sex with me, and I was gifted the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii. So it was a pretty good day.
月を見るたび思い出せHappy birthday, person who is 6 years and 1 day older than me. :P
And it sounds like you had a good time. :)

Umm...-clever suggestive joke about the sex-
@Bacon: Thank you! It was a pretty good day.
@Key: *suggestive retort*

Book five of Kingdom Keepers...
Finn keeps kissing and getting kissed by pretty girls. XD The author's got some apparent wish fulfillment going...
