In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Found a new Invader Zim comic with great art and great price!

$0.00.

It just started so not much as happened yet, but from the look of it the creator did a good job with their personalities and giving them a not-awful anime appearance.

At the top of the coming hour, as the timestamp on this post indicates, The Synchtube Troper Coven will be checking out an ultra-low-budget renegade cop Lethal Weapon imitation of an action movie in Shotgun.

(Video Unrelated)

But, first, swing by now for new Retsupurae, Cybersix, celebrity workouts, and some other stupid stuff.

This can't be good.

My money is on it being a mutated form of the bacterium that causes zombification aand brain-lust and that's why they've sealed off the city, rather than just testing all his relatives and giving them antibiotics if required...

Had a blow up today. The root cause: dissatisfaction with my life, particularly being single. What came out of my mouth (at least at first): Mom is stupid for liking Twilight.

I really need to learn to just say "Hey, I'm hurting and need comfort." Instead of lashing out at things I think my parents are doing wrong. That's just mean and wrong and hurtful.

Well, shit, I need to pay for shipping from two shops if I'm to put my Electric Nazi costume together, but if my calculations are correct, it'll still be cheaper than if I bought from Ebay.

I hope the payday's tomorrow.

I really like Crackdown 2. Even years after I finished it. Way more than Crackdown 1.

In the daytime are Cell, the angry freedom fighters who are fighting against the hero's organization the Agency, who are just an overly righteous police force.

In the nighttime are the Freaks, the mutated zombielike citizens whom the Agency are trying to wipe out but Cell wants to find a cure for.

It's so threeway. And it has way more guns and weapons than Crackdown 1, and the Keys to the City mode give you cheats that practically make the city your playground.

Crackdown 1 may have had a better-looking city, but the sequel was a big improvement. I wish Crackdown "3" was a true sequel that would keep all the good stuff of 2.

At the top of the coming hour, as the timestamp on this post indicates, The Synchtube Troper Coven will be witnessing Bela Lugosi's encounter with second-rate Jerry Lewis knockoff in Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla.

But first, swing by now for new content from Lowtax and Retsupurae, more of Cybersix, and some other stupid stuff.

Fun fact: The 24th of July is a state holiday in Utah, celebrating the day Mormon settlers entered the Salt Lake valley. Why do I bring this up? Because the neighborhood sounded like a war zone with all the fireworks in celebration, drowning out the family pyrotechnics display. I have never seen such a display in the neighborhood before, for any celebration. For a while it was almost like dueling fireworks between two streets.

Oh, Ho-Oh-HOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo...

It's Kung Fu Fridy, and at the top of the coming hour, as the timestamp on this post indicates, The Synchtube Troper Coven will be set with a heaping helping of Godfrey Ho ninja nonsense in Full Metal Ninja with Pierre Kirby.

But, first, swing by the chat now for even more bad dubbing, crazy martial arts action, even more Godfrey Ho, and some other stupid stuff.

A while back, I had a dumb idea on Tumblr.

As fate would have it, it seems to have caught on.

This happened right behind my aunt's house Friday morning. My family is fine. Worst they got were frayed nerves, melted vinyl siding, and a messy yard.

So am I. Feel terrible for the owners of the house, particularly the one who was in the house at the time. Just a horrific thing all around.

So I pretty much assembled the main control board for my XCOM backpack, painted the reactor panels and cut out the holes for all the sockets, switches and other doodads in the control box. Now I'm waiting for paycheck to order a M14 and a can of OD paint.

Also, for my other project, the Electric Nazi, I decided on the rank. Majorly Awesome it is, because "Hauptmann Todesstrahl" sounds like a bad Google translation for a comic with a timey wimey Nazi plot. "Major Todesstrahl"? Much better, compare Major Mayhem. And throw in the quintessentially evil-sounding unit name, "Sonderwaffenforschungsabteilung HYDRA" (because of my decision about No Swastikas). There.

I like Six Billion Secrets. I can anonymously say things that would probably get me shut in a mental institution otherwise.

I wish I could get that to work on this PC. I have plenty of things to say that would get me locked up or sacked or both.
