So, does / should this page have any connection to YKTTW Cleanup?

I made a TRS for Kaleidoscope Eyes, since it was getting mixed with Mood Ring Eyes, and turned KE into a redirect for Inconsistent Coloring...

But I also have a TLP for KE, because I thought it should be redefined as In-Universe unexplained eye color changes, as in actually changing color, not due to lighting.

Not sure whether to just revert my KE edits, then edit to match TLP, or go through TLP, 'cause all I need is more hats.

I am in desperate need of help with my TLP. I need good examples and apparently a rewrite of the description. Is anyone willing to help me with this?

As I'm now handing the "Sparks of Love" draft, I'm just hollering for any image for this. Also, I'm considering on renaming this on the old name, as I wanted it to differentiate from Flames of Love.

I'm trying to launch this draft that I have grabbed, and I'm planning to launch it by late August/early September, but the last thing I need to do is to change the title. It originally was "Sparks of Love" because the other title "Electric Love" was changed to what I could only interpret as less radar-y.

The problem is, it got thematically taken by Flames of Love, and I wouldn't want to, well... spark confusion with the two, so I made "Electric Love" as a placeholder title and made a crowner for any other titles. Currently, two have a net of one upvotes.

So, I'm hollering this due to what title should it be.

Can a mod close Cutting Corners which was launched as Cutting Corners?

My Horrible Backstory Ballad draft has received nothing but bombs so far. I have been editing new examples into it slowly, out of fear that tropers will jump in to complain that the draft is full of Zero Context Examples and not expand on any.

This draft needs feedback — I'd like to hear your input on the name. I'm fairly certain by this point that it's tropeworthy and there is clear distinction from similar tropes. The description is shaped up and there are some decent examples.

But the name — I'm not so sure. Original trope name was Formula for X and Solving X with Equations. Current working title is Formula For The Unformulable.

I made an embarrassingly bad TLP - can it be deleted?

I mean, you can discard it. It'll probably end up well forgotten. And apparently sometimes drafts do just disappear?

I just nuked it now and blanked it.

I accidentally created a duplicate of my TLP. Or, more accurately, I discarded the first one because I got the Laconic and Description fields mixed up and didn't realise I could fix it.

Ask on ATT for a un-nuking?

The Trope Launch Pad discard project keeps running into half-baked drafts that are hypothetically fixable but covered in cobwebs. If anybody wants to adopt those drafts, you can find them in the "Mothballed" folder on this page.

Edit again: Um... this might be kind of a stupid question... The Administrivia.YKTTW Workstation List page hasn't been used in years. What would happen if I copied the links to drafts in the "Mothballed" folder of Sandbox.Trope Launch Pad Discard Project and pasted those links under the "Needs a Sponsor" heading on Administrivia.YKTTW Workstation List? Would I get booed for necro-ing that page?

The user who took over this Yellow / Purple draft (part of the Color Contrast spectrum) thought it looked ready for launching this weekend, but in the two weeks since grabbing it (with my blessing), few examples look as though they actually took the time to read the trope description.

I've been having issues trying to create a TLP for a trope tentatively titled "Draconic Abomination". I can't find it anywhere on the TLP page, but it acts like it's already been created since when I tried again my URL said "Duplicate Page" and booted me back to the TLP list. And when I search it nothing pops up, so I don't know what's going on.

In light of that , I copypasted the mothball folder links to drafts from Trope Launch Pad Discard Project to the "needs a sponsor" heading on YKTTW Workstation List. I wasn't done tweaking the format to fit the workstation page when the editlock expired, so I'll be back to continue after I take a break to recharge my gung-ho.

There's a draft titled Unable to Whistle that, in its current state, is People Sit on Chairs, merely listing characters who can't whistle, which reads like trivia because it's divorced from what happens to the plot as a consequence. There is so much potential for analyzing how being unable to whistle can affect the plot, but the sponsor put only a token effort into mentioning that.

How to launch media of TV Tropes? Like for example, if I made a movie, then put the information about the movie in TV Tropes. Do you understand me?

I feel all of them could be tropes, but the descriptions are badly written.

Planning to launch Yellow / Purple Contrast tomorrow.

The new sponsor proposed some additional names to link to the new trope page:

• Gold / Purple Contrast
• Purple / Gold Contrast
• Purple / Yellow Contrast
• Yellow / Violet Contrast
• Violet / Yellow Contrast
• Gold / Violet Contrast
• Violet / Gold Contrast

That's five extra alternate names, but we wanted to make sure as many bases as possible were covered first.
