Wow you guys werent kidding with the whole Tsubaki being shafted thing.

Also Ragna grew one mighty fine beard. its really cool to see how mature he's gotten.

Tsubaki had finished her arc from the last game, so there wasn't much for her to do sadly lol. And then the game just dropped her whole plotline of fighting Jin/Hakumen soo....

Annnnnnd we're done with the main scenario!

Dang what a way to go. So in order to destroy the loops completely, Ragna himself had to be completely forgotten by everyone, because the Calamity Trigger would always happen, aka the first game. Since Ameterasu forgot his existence, the loops cant occour anymore. Is that what I understand?

Essentially.

God damned Ragna and his robot harem...even the God loved him so much it screwed the world over...

So now that thats all cleared up...what happens now? We got a stinger for the next game in that final text, there's still murakumos to "save", Ragna's gone of somewhere, Carl turned rogue, and we still have no sign of apocalypse-01 yet.

There's one thing I'm unclear on:

So who is Noel now? Ragna's sister, or ...well Noel? They kinda merged in the end right?

The Noel we know is now Saya reborn.

I think Noel is basically gone now.

Wow.

So...what do you think she calls herself now? Does she even have Noel's memories, or are those gone too?

Edit: Also, did we ever get some ages for the characters? I was never clear how old any of them were supposed to be.

Also I feel like I should have done these sub scenarios while I was going through the main plot, but the story never stopped once. Feels like I missed several gaps.

Noel and Saya become one in the same, since Noel was always just a fragment of Saya to begin with. So she has both of her memories as Noel and Saya, but prefers the former obviously. It's why she starts referring to Ragna and Jin with honorifics.

The sub scenarios are only there to add to the main story and do explain certain plot points, but aren't required.

So count, what'd you think of Terumi's true nature being revealed? That was like, the biggest thing people took from the climax lol.

Noel was always basically Diet Saya, CF just made it explicit.

And they don't resolve whether Tsubaki knows Hakumen is Jin or not in the story mode...

Well I had that spoiled for me literally years ago during the intial hype. I didnt go into this 100% blind, unfortunately, so I knew it was coming. However, I do like how he was able to be killed. In the current world there was barely anyone left, and Terumi's Resurrection loop couldn't work anymore because there's no one to fear him. THAT was some delicious irony.

EDIT: OK going through these sub stories, Luna and Sena were ALSO part of unknown lab experiments? what the heck were these people doing experimenting on all these children?

I still kinda hate Platinum (mostly because I don't get why a male persona was needed, as it sounds like an excuse to fulfill a weird fetish) but I am curious to know what their original identities were.

IIRC they were two dying children that Jubei came across so he shoved their souls into an artificial body to save them.

That's also why they're so attached to him, because he saved their lives.

Why does everyone make a big deal about Ragna "beating everyone" in CF? Who is the majority Ragna beat? Jin, Noel, Litchi, Bang, Nu, Tsubaki, Makoto, Bullet?

Dude wasn't Ragna like...already stronger than them all since BBCT? Except Nu but in CP Ragna became Strong and Skilled and proved it by beating Nu.

Also Ragna never technically beat any of the villains in CF, except Hazama and Terumi (not Susano'o).

Probably because he had so many hollow victories and cheap losses in past games which overshadowed his actual successes, that to see him just stomp through almost the whole cast with the only caveat being something he himself knew would happened and accepted was very striking. Plus he delivered the killing blow to Nine, helped Noel with the final stage of absorbing Izanami. At the end of the day, he didn't have any victories with a negative catch to them, besides the one he decided for himself, a difference from the other games.

I mainly talked about Ragna's power level tho (in the eyes of audience). The one who has canonically beat him before CF is only Hakumen, Nu, Hazama, Kagura, Azrael. And even then there's Worf Had the Flu factor for all of them except Hakumen/Nu (although he mught be tired and injured vs Nu from Hakumen previously).

And I meant Ragna finished Nine because of her being distracted, also he didn't overpower Izanami.

"Ragna beats everyone" is a misnomer, more like "he's stronger than others come CF". Embryo sucking people's souls other than Ragna and Nine. (dunno about Izanami or Terumi though)

He does beat some other characters (mostly unimportant ones) so that he can take their desires.

"he's stronger than others come CF" word can imply that Ragna was weak before tbh. Ragna gained Memetic Loser status but he's never weak as they thought. And certainly stronger than the likes of Jin, Noel, Litchi, Bang, Nu, Tsubaki, Makoto, Bullet; the majority of people he beat, since back in CT (except Nu but not in CP).

I think Ragna 'beating most of the cast' like those people I mentioned doesn't really qualify as his feat becoming One-Man Army or Took a Level in Badass in CF.

Well to be fair anyone would be stronger than Bullet

One Man A Rmy fits Ragna prior to the first game's story (where he massacres NOL troops).

Took a Level in Badass doesn't have to be expressed in "beating people he couldn't before". At its core, he gets stronger, and that's all that matters.

I dunno. I would fit that Jobber part to someone else.
