Just having Terumi go "poof" by the final blow wouldn't be as dramatic, you see.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaMissing the quote? My idea is I'd like Terumi's Famous Last Words to echo in Ragna's mind as the black feathers would dissipate around him after the last stab. I think it also would make it more Nightmare Fuel, and having Ragna do his Pre-Mortem One-Liner before the last stab.
But actually what I care more is that the "final stab" in the cutscene looks like an ordinary stabbing attack, without many of its augmentations shown in gameplay I listed above. I wanted the final stab to look like a final attack.

I mean, it's a stab. There's not much ways you can make it extravagant.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well that's not entirely true.
Just have to work at making it very over the top.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, like after the stab, have Black Beast-like spikes shoot out and skewer Terumi from the inside out.

A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. No, just add those augmentations which are already there in gameplay:
Stab + red orb (constructed by enemy soul absorbing) + dark wing + big red beam.
An SS of the "red beam" on Ragna's Astral. The attack on gameplay is like that but after the enemy's finished it reveals that Ragna's actually attacking with sword mode beneath all that.

Well, that's not what happened. Don't know what else to tell you.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Sugar Punch Design Works, a channel that has looked at a bunch of fighting game characters to analyse their animation, gives his thoughts on Blaz Blue Astrals.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Hmmm,...the boss characters do tend to get the most cinematic Astrals...and all of them are variations of Noel. Go figure.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Mori, your waifu is shit, don't you get it by now?

A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.Psh. Actually, who has a trashier waifu taste? Mori or me and my choices of waifu from Blaz Blue and beyond?
Liar. Your waifu is Bullet and her tanned skin glory. And I also said that I have other choices of waifu beyond BB and almost none of them are the 'common choice' of waifu a la Noel. Example: Saberfaces or Jalter, Lucina or Lyndis

Nah, I nominate me and my love for Tsubaki from a Japanese BB fan point of view
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI never had an issue with Noel's old astral TBH. Mu's original astral was the worst in the game.
Carl's is pretty weak though his original stood out a bit more since it had a countdown. It was also insanely impractical.
Litchi's was never that bad either.
Hakumen's original one was sick, I like the sped up versions after slightly less.

Reading BB's ymmv page, I'm wondering:
In her quest to save Arakune, Litchi definitely becomes The Unfettered (while still retaining her good traits). But she's a doctor, who ideally should be The Fettered. Maybe that's what makes the idea of her saving Arakune look... wrong? (or at least what she did in the name of saving him)
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaMaybe. And maybe that's how people were pissed and contributed to her unpopularity. She'd be a much more solidly loved with no broken bases character if she just obeyed the expectations given to her: Be a kind doctor, not someone who just wants to bang a blob.
Well, she disobeyed the expectations. Punishment awaited: No votes or likes, overemphasis her negatives, forget her inner conflict. And ASW is not helping at all, really.
.... (looks at the time) Yep, just about as I expected.

I can't tell if you're talking about NEE Ts or nerds
This is a little too much man
I dunno if it's too much or just describing the current situation.
I think this page of this fanfic has a very good writing of Black Onslaught's attacks(the fic is written before CF cutscene), although it describes "large 'black' laser" instead of 'red' laser.
Then again Ragna in BB fight cutscenes lack the "Soul Eater" seithr attacks, only fully rendered in vs Nine cutscene (and only once as finisher, CP still uses purple energy like one on BBAM, then again also only once), mostly he's just slashing there.

Did that Q&A thing with Mori ASW tweeted out happen yet?
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterWhat, is there something you may want to ask? It could've been closed.
My question now is, is Kagura just a Badass Normal sword fighter or he really has Casting a Shadow powers? (Some attacks like Dragon Spirit and Supreme Dragon's Inferno are 'clearly' this though) Because his cutscene also involves him just slashing, is he implemented in cutscene like Ragna (especially his CT/CS one) or he's actually Badass Normal?
Also how does Azrael's Growler Field (firing projectile) actually work canonically? And Hakumen's "strokes" are just eye-candy to his attacks right? Also how about Bang's "burning" attacks like Double Palm Thrust (he's said as Badass Normal here)? I also don't know if Hibiki's clone are his power to create clones or just afterimages?
Well because story almost never brings up character's powers except those which aren't in gameplay (Time Killer, Immortal Breaker); it just treats gameplay is all you know about their power but that's some question for me...
Those are their Drives, which everyone with a soul has, so I think characters like Kagura and Bang are Badass Normal by the standards of their universe.
Things like Time Killer and Immortal Breaker are different things, I think.

A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. So you mean that Kagura's Casting a Shadow powers and Bang's Playing with Fire punches (and possibly Furinkazan) are their Drive powers? You mean Badass Normal as they don't use special weapons or magic as those powers are from themselves? I guess this also applies to Hibiki (although I don't really know if those are clones or afterimages). How about Hakumen's "strokes" in some his attacks?
Yeah I mean the story almost never brings up character's fighting power (like "Rachel can summon lightnings, Tsubaki can charge/Install to deliver more powerful attacks, etc.") except those who aren't in gameplay like those 2 I mentioned.
My theory but well that is more of Terumi 's own death animation after he's totally wounded where his body turns into green flame and then disappears...(Kind of like Disappears into Light type but obv not to light <- Haven't find the trope for this).
Ragna's Black Onslaught makes them dissipate in some white light and black feathers in gameplay. And well, instantly after the final stab hits them, in cutscene it only impales Terumi (In an attack stripped of its gameplay augmentations) which mortally wounds him and triggers his death scene.
