If there is one thing I have to give a credit for this series as a whole, it does have, in my opinion, the most postively coolest Evil Laugh I have seen in all media.

It hurts to watch less than reading the book would and it's less painful than the first season. Except for that damn bit with the pens and nuns.

So... If you want to?

I mean, you get to see Accelerator shenanigans and other characters getting some spotlight with less plot and Index getting in the way. In general anyway.

Well, that is an improvement, all right.

While the anime has troubles it over all has less loli fanservice so it's a better adaptation than the LN.

Although as always the Railgun manga is the best adaptation of the Index verse.

Although Railgun appears to be all moeshit at first (Les Yay scenes between Kuroko and Mikoto didn't really help things), it can be actually good if you get the hang of it, especially once the action starts, that is. Hell, some people even say that Wataru Kurozuma is even more badass than Touma himself.

With Railgun having its second season, it's more likely that it will cover the Sisters Arc from Mikoto's POV, and hopefully, the latest arc in the manga, the Mental Out Arc.

The Mental Out arc hasn't finished yet. No way it's getting animated this season

So thirteen or so episodes for only one arc? People might call MoeBlob! on that.

Who knows, maybe the current arc might be finished just in time for the end of the Sisters Arc.

In other news, I was reading the entry of Rikou Takitsubo (Shiage's girlfriend) in ITEM's character page, and then I thought, "Would she fit the Blue Mage archetype?"

Throughout this series, what order would you advise watching the shows. (Spinoff and OV As etc.)

Railgun and Index are barely connected so it doesn't really matter. The only point of intersection I can really recall is the Sisters arc.

[up]And that matter only if you read the manga, anyway. The animes are even more unconnected.

So I'm reading the Index manga right now. I'm about ten chapters in.

Seems promising so far. I'll have to read more before I can really form an opinion.

More Railgun manga is out. It's interesting to see how Kuroko acts with her memory altered

Kuroko claiming not to be a lesbian? Single-Target Sexuality then?

Railgun manga: Continues being better than the main series.

[up][up][up]Have you watched the anime, by any chance? I've heard bad things about the manga. Apparently they skip a few things or something. Not the best medium for this show, I believe. Unlike the Railgun manga, which is better than the anime.

About the most recent chapter. I liked it. I am really liking this arc. A pity it is so slow.

[up]Nah, I think she is just embarrassed and, thus, trying to deny. She doesn't remember Mikoto, after all. The fact she even bring up sexuality in the first place speaks a lot.

I found that the Railgun anime was actually an improvement on the manga when it was actually being an adaptation. The problem was the filler

But yeah, the Index manga is kind of mediocre. Or the parts I read were

So... Curiosity finally got the better of me, and I decided to check this series on Youtube, starting by typing "railgun misaka" into the search box. This led me to these two videos (double posting due to one-video-per-post limit).

I was half-expecting her to grab a power cable and supercharge herself on every shred of electric power she can before utterly pulverizing Therestina and her smug ugly mug in the above video, BTW.

... I'm surprised she didn't get the In-Series Nickname of "Right Hand of Zeus" after these two incidents.

She doesn't need any more In Series Nicknames. She's already got enough. The Strongest Electromaster, Tokiwadai's Ace, Academy City's Electric Princess and of coure The Railgun. (and Biri-biri, but only Touma uses it and she hates it.)

Say, do you think a skilled martial arts with exceptionally high endurance can defeat Touma?

Should be able to. Or you could just shoot him

It's been done. Tsuchimikado did it and Tateyama? or whatever from Amakusa nearly did as well. Touma is just some punk streetfighter and a real martial artist would maul him, so he never has to fight them.

Tsuchimikado kicked the shit out of him. Touma is barely a brawler.

Oh yeah, I remember. That scene was awesome.

I think that half of my judo class can beat (well, more of throw/choke) up Touma. Then again, my class average is yellow belt and there are plenty of orange, brown, and black belts.

Hell, this might sound seriously suicidally overconfident, but I think I can stand at least some chance. In addition to judo I also know the basics of boxing and wrestling. Well, I guess being a fairly big guy (181cm/82kg) does help a bit.
