Lines from The Second Coming have been invading my thoughts at random intervals all week (as well as repeatedly cropping up in TV, books and magazines) and I'm getting strange sensations of weight on my side where a holster would go and my trigger finger is twitchy.

Someone or something tried the door handle while I was at the fire station the other night- my wife thought it was me coming home, but there was nobody there when she looked. There was a tapping at the kitchen window the next night, same story.

So somehow, that lead me to this video where the gender roles in ads are switched.

Somehow, not as convincing though. Because the first ad is still laughable, the girl in the gender-switched second ad is still way more attractive than the guy in the original second ad, and the guy in the gender-switched third ad is still hot, even if the sandwich could have been better made.

Frozen is hands-down the least predictable Disney movie I have ever seen.

Of course, when I think about it, that may not be a very high bar to cross.

Okay, put it this way; it is one of the least predictable MOVIES I've ever seen for sure. Disney is going in new and interesting directions for once, and somewhat to my surprise, I fully approve of those directions.

Thing is, they're logical twists. Helluva difference. Hell, Frozen makes more sense than lots of other Disney cartoons, and still defies everything you've come to expect from them (Plotwise, anyway).

The characters and their actions make complete sense. And the entire movie still threw me for a loop. I can't fucking get over it.
