Just a character or two from the back of my mind. Zip and friends are essentially Great Gazoos from a dimension between dimensions.

Zip is based visually on 1930s Disney cartoons like Steamboat Willie but I imagine him with more Spongebob/Bugs Bunny mannerisms. Marvin the Martian also found a way in there.

Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.

Looks good. Looks like something that Disney would cook up on an acid trip.

The woman is a bit risque, looks too thin and sickly, and has really big hips and thighs. If that's the intention, then good work.

Very clean lines for a doodle. The Zip to the topmost left-hand side has some great foreshortening.

Thanks guys!

Kkrackknut: The woman, who has yet to be named and is in fact Zip's girlfriend, was influenced by such animated leading ladies like Betty Boop, Jessica Rabbit and Daphne from Scooby Doo. She isn't meant to be nude but I thought it would make for a good joke (ahahah itdidn't). Didn't know she looked sickly though, better tone down the details. oh and Hartman Hips

Yuanchosaan: Thanks! I try my best :)

@Atom: Your work is so much fun to look at, and I do see the Disney resemblance.

Thanks Harm :)

So anyway this is what sprung into mind today. They are "The Family of Tommorrow!". They areThe Roberts. Made of Omnidisciplinary Scientist Quantum, Action Mom Helen and the Brother–Sister Team Sam and Stacey. Basically they are the Badass Family of my superhero Universe.

Something about the way Quantum's left arm in the upper left hand sketch is bent seems too flat. But how to fix it would be a puzzle to me, too; I'd just be trying different lines until one matched up with my sense of realism. Maybe try shortening it, foreshortening some of it, or having it bend a little less.

I love your style, though. It's close to how I'd like to draw if I felt confident enough venturing into drawing stylized characters again.

So they're the Fantastic Four without superpowers, then?

The lines are nice and the picture's fun to look at. But the logo-design reminds me of Robin's, to be honest. Maybe a satellite-oval could add a bit of spaciness to it.

@Harm: I usually do the Line thing whenever I get stuck myself and your right it actually does work really well. Oh I'd love to see some of your stylized stuff.

@Kkrackknut: I like to think of them as a Homage but yes, I guess so. Satellite Oval?

Unfortunately...I'm not to stylized stuff yet. I mean, I do have my old drawings where I did that, but I think I've taught myself away from that style for a while to get the hang of how things come together in real life. I can try again, but last time, it wasn't pretty.

You know. An oval line that traces the path of a satellite. Like on the NASA logo.

Nice work. The style of the kimono-wearing woman looks a lot like those old Japanese paintings.

This is an inked and shaded version of a lineart I posted earlier.

I think I kind of overdid the hair, but I still have no idea how to draw that hairstyle yet.

I don't think you overdid it at all, Wheezy! The highlights at the top and bottom, though, don't quite match up. Is she being backlit or something?

Doodles of characters from Goddaughter. Yes, the driver's seat is supposed to be on the left.

Details of another character. She is getting dressed and I highlighted a scar WAY up on her leg, so there is some non-sexual nudity.

Leradny: I like the pictures. The proportions are a bit skewed, but the characters look warm and homey, so that's good.

Ladycoffee: The picture is good. The clothing ripples, the hair, the hands, and the proportions are all fine. The eyes however, look just a mite too high on her face.

^Thanks for the comment. Looks like I'll still have a lot to work on my artstyle though.

This is the Mary Sue protagonist OC I've been talking about in my past posts.

Thanks krrackknut!

ladycoffee: The eyes have already been mentioned, so yeah. I like the satiny look you gave to the main outfit while keeping the gold trim matte, and the little spots of orange at the corners are very interesting.

A quipao, however, is formal wear, so seeing what looks like gray and orange hiking boots is a touch... off-putting, no matter how practical they are. I would use riding boots to keep with her lady of war image.

That's some really nice hatching work there, Nat. Well done! ^^b

The bird's knees creep me out for some reason.

I wasn't sure how to draw flamingo legs, so that may be it.

EDIT: ...oh, good grief, I drew them backwards.

Shame on me. ._.

They're supposed to bend the other way—what we think of as bird knees for long-legged birds are actually the bird's ankles, so yeah.

Edit: Ninja'd!

Also, I do like how you made the crest transparent, and how the difference of texture in the stone and feathers is very apparent. I think the broken windows (it is glass, right?) could be a little more rigid. How did they break?

...that was not supposed to be a qipao, at least not what I had in mind. Well it did end up looking like one but anyway, thanks for the input. I am yet to finalize her outfit.
