The song from the end of Ch. 827 was quite entertaining.

Definitely gives off the appropriate Disney-villain feel, doesn't it?

Also is it just me or does her age seem more apparent in anime-form? Also were any other Steven Universe fans getting Pearl vibes from the back up singers.

Literally, everyone.

864 spoilers: Mainly a set-up chapter, it sounds like. The Vinsmokes are mentioned to be restrained by candy (likely from Perospero); the brothers don't seem to particularly care that they're going to be killed, while Judge is all This Cannot Be!. Fights mentioned are Sanji vs. Daifuku (ate the Lamp Lamp Fruit and can summon a genie. Yep) and Pedro vs. Oven (Hot Hot Fruit, sounds identical to the Heat Heat Fruit from the anime's Ice Hunter filler arc), and Capone gets to deliver a cool Shut Up, Hannibal! Screw Destiny line to Katakuri.

That emotionlessness thing seems to be amplified for Karma purposes.

Agreed, he has had it coming for a long time, it's karma catching up to him.

Man, what a fucking bitch lol. I honestly prefer this to Sanji kicking his face in, because he just looks pathetic and it feels good.

Also glad that Pudding didn't automatically Heel–Face Turn, but is still wavering around. The real damsel in distress is Judge who is blubbering like Rebecca, when in a situation that is above their heads.

Big Mom literally blue-screened because there were too many things to have a heart-attack over.

Daifuku's powers are pretty neat. I wonder if he manipulates smoke and gives it a Haki-hardened form like Cracker and his biscuits, or if he summons an actual djinn.

Cry some more, Judge. Also, it's kind of darkly amusing that the Vinsmoke sons are just casually laughing everything off.

Oh, this chapter is so cathartic regarding Judge's slip into Patheticville.

I relish in Judge's Tears and love that how a bully is being made to suffer because of his own stupid decisions.

Also Perospero was right, because Judge was just a cow for the slaughter and even worse he stupidly believed that Big Mom would help him.

I am hereby referring to them as the Vinsmoked family.

And so it begins, how the most legendary mafia of the seas fell because of one of the Yonko's efforts.

Speaking of Mafias. I wonder if Bege, Sanji or Luffy will try to save them

I do have to say as well, is the fact that Capone has been shown to be the man, even though he still is a ruthless person who I don't trust. He's now certainly going come out as a traitor to the Charlottes.

It also looks like we are getting a Cavendish coverstory, this should be fun.

Seems more Straw Hat Grand Fleet, so it may shift to someone else in a few weeks

Oda just seems to me like the sort of person who loves to take in all sorts of works from all sorts of media and draw inspiration from all of it, regardless of its source. The zany, mixing bowl world of One Piece is built as a way to have cyborg Ace Ventura team up with zombie Slash against the likes of mad scientist Tim Curry or the underwater KKK, and it works perfectly in context.

I bet he's the best type of person to have around for a movie night.
