Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I hope I'll get to see it. I've seen lunar eclipses, but I've always wanted to see a solar one. :)
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Must be US-exclusive because I tried to put in my location and it told me it didn't exist...
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantThat's generally how eclipses work- the moon is always moving in cycles , but will always return to the same position after a certain number of years
The eclipse'll be passing right over my home town in Kentucky!
It's gonna be great!
Luckyyyyy
I have to go on a road trip
I get a partial eclipse! And my twin brother gets a partial eclipse! I just hope that he'll be able to step outside the hospital (or at least get a window) to see it! He's a doctor, a resident working 70+ hours per week, so I really hope he gets to look at it...
Knowing my luck it'll be cloudy on eclipse day. I've only managed to watch one full lunar eclipse in 25 years thanks to shitty weather. . .
I've been planning this trip since 2015. It better not be cloudy.
This isn't my first time chasing an astronomical event. (I drove up to rural Canada two years in a row to see the Perseids in prime viewing conditions, and last year I just started driving with no end goal in mind just trying to get as far as I could from the city in time for the Lyrids. I ended up somewhere in New Hampshire and just watched from the top of the cars) But this is the first time, since missing the Transit of Venus, I'll be chasing an event where, if I miss it, there will be no second chance. -sweats nervously-
What better text to demo a stereotypically "German propaganda" font than "GHOSTAPO! Those Wacky Nazis with their Stupid Jetpack Hitler"?
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI feel like half-jokingly suggesting that the Doctor Who thread be moved to OTC.
....OTC?
Ah.

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...On-Topic Conversations, where political discussion goes.
I checked my schedule for nest semester... And, well... My Mondays are gonna be FUCKED. As in, classes from 8 am to 9 pm with 15 minute breaks in-between. Sure there's a 2 hour break for lunch, but GOD.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives. It seems like the regular DW thread community is generally positive to thrilled and a bunch of people who at best haven't posted there in years came in to let everyone know the show is ruined forever.
Fresh-eyed movie blog....Just like every other community on the Internet.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...I'm simultaneously tired and thirsty. :S
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Ignore this, just checking if something works...
Oh, look, it does. Am leaving here because it's a good song. Mr Natural. Wooo.

Everybody's all "Jerry's old and feeble" till they see him run down a skyscraper and hijack a helicopter mid-flight.I wonder how common or uncommon hazel eyes are. Are they common or rare or...?
Everybody's all "Jerry's old and feeble" till they see him run down a skyscraper and hijack a helicopter mid-flight.I'd say pretty common. Hazel is a pretty loose term, just meaning a combination of brown and another color, or eyes that change color in some way. I have hazel eyes myself, that appear brown in dull light, and green in sunlight. (If you're curious, here's a demonstration◊)
Chocolate is the universal constant. Anybody who doesn't like chocolate is either an alien or a demon. Or a space demon. Or a demonic alien. Or all of the above!

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. My brother and I were opposite like that when we were kids. I like chocolate and he liked vanilla.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.
An S-shaped (well, depending on the projection) strip across the entire continental US. Almost the entire country will see at least a partial eclipse. Therefore it's been dubbed "The Great American Eclipse".
