Well, no. But NACA was the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, which was then turned into the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Yep, they got the job when it was decided to centralize the US space effort.

Not that the various branches of the military were all that happy about it, because they were all trying to get a slice of that futuristic pie. Including the army, who proposed troop transport by rocket.

The NACA wants to be relevant again. In the beginning their draft only change their responsibility. But then Congress said, no, we are breaking up your leadership. So that's why the third letter was changed instead of what the fourth letter stands for.

The NACA and NASA are the same, yet different. I would write more but the NACA isn't that relevant with the scope of the wiki. There is The Wind Rises, and I think that's it.

So, I got this idea of a casino heist for Edge of the Empire.

And my question is where I should set it.

Now, I got 2-3 options I'm considering here.

• Bespin
• Corellia

Ord Mantell's a maybe but I kind want there to be a police presence that isn't completely corrupt.

Mos Eisley doesn't have a casino?

Casino heist, huh?

Of the options that've come up, I'd favour Bespin. Aside from the tibanna gas mining, Cloud City is basically a luxury holiday resort full of fancy hotels and casinos. There's certainly plenty of gambling going on on Ord Mantell and Nar Shaddaa, bound to be some on Corellia, and I'm sure the Hutts are running some very profitable operations on Tatooine as well, but for the high rollers and really thrilling games (and plenty of style), it's got to be there.

There's a mostly competent security force in the form of the Bespin Wing Guard, but nothing on the level of the über-equipped and overachieving defence force Corellia has. If you were to try and rob a casino in Coronet, CorSec would be breathing down your neck before you could even think about leaving the planet, let alone the system (which is a big one, too). On Bespin, if you have your getaway ship waiting and make it to the landing platform, you're pretty much home free. I'm not sure the Wing Guard even has starfighters and shaking a bunch of cloud cars should make for thrilling chase scene.
