Alright, confess odd things.
Excessive complaining isn't allowed anywhere on the site. Keep it out of this thread.
For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

Yes. I love to see anyone's face when I say how much I paid. Especially when I get it from Goodwill, and even then I get it half off.
Have you ever been to a Goodwill in a rich neighborhood? There's one I go to a lot in this super rich town. Once I got a skirt for $15, and it still had the original $200 tag on it. Love a good 93% off sale

Do you ever have a really bad nightmare and then wake up kind of scared, but mostly just impressed that your subconscious was able to come up with such a complex psychological thriller?
Not a nightmare, but I did have one dream that felt almost like a movie with really high production values.
Shame I can't remember any of it, though.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseMy subconscious impresses me a lot. If it wanted to, it could torment me with the flying knife thing again. Or the spreading tar thing again.
I had a nightmare last night of a sort. It was about not being able to find someone trapped in a nightmare who I wanted to save. It was a bit meta.
It involved changelings and some corrupted scenes from the already nightmarish Psychonauts.
I wanted to go to Goodwill in a rich neighborhood, haha but I never have the time anymore. We should meet IRL and totally do that.
I find the Gold/Silver/Crystal version of the Lavender Town music to be much creepier than the Red/Blue/Yellow music.
Yeah? How so?
Incidentally, Webby and I were actually talking about that song the other night.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.We were and the original Japanese version isn't creepier persay just more annoying and makes me wanna hurt something.
The shape of the Philippines freaks me out.
Don't ask why, because I really really don't know.
My stuff. Dynamic dinosaurI used to not know the difference between dikes and dykes. If you didn't know, the latter is a slur for lesbians. You see, I had heard a joke about this confusion. I assumed it was about the objectification of women. It was not. I told it in front of several family members.
Needless to say, I remain embarrassed by this fact to this day.
0dd: It starts off with the original ostinato but when the melody kicks in it becomes all happy and it feels like the happiness is just covering up the sadness that's still there.
Those are technically the same word. Dyke is the preferred spelling outside of the US.

Yeah, but when put into the context of describing women... let's just say it didn't go over well with my hippy grandfather.
Also, on the topic of dreams and nightmares, I had a particularly bad one recently. A friend of my sisters was staying over at the time, and I dreamt that I went downstairs with a knife and killed her. It wasn't that I hated her; it was the way that things had to be, I was convinced that her death was nessecary. I hid the body in such a way that it would it would look like she was run over as a car backed out of a driveway. Then I went to church and could not say a single prayer out of guilt.
Needless to say, I was terrified of my subconcious in the morning.
Ehh, sometimes you have dreams where you act wildly out of character. But they're just dreams, so try not worry too much?
My odd confession: I have not had a single nightmare since I was maybe like 12
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun.@Six: to be fair, they did literally demolish their graveyard and built a radio tower over it, so that's a fair impression to get from it
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Just for the sake of it, but some lesbian women use 'dyke' to describe themselves as a reclaimed word. It's not too popular, but it does happen.
"Did you expect somebody else?"You know that feeling where you really wish you hadn't pre-ordered or helped kickstart something? I don't. I haven't been upset with any game I've ever pre-ordered or backed. Instead, I now know the feeling where I wish I had put more money into something: If I had gone up to the $30 tier for the Yooka-Laylee Kickstarter, I'd get to play around in something called the toybox, which is a large standalone level that just released yesterday.
When I read the first couple sentences, I thought you were talking about Mighty No. 9.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Being the bride/groom in a wedding sounds really embarrassing to me. The walking up the aisle thing when everyone's staring at you and crying. All your relatives gushing, "You look so beautiful/handsome!" and "My baby's getting married!" All the sappiness, where you're the sappy centerpiece. The experience sounds humiliating. If I ever get married I'm doing it quietly and without an audience

I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THIS
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdIf I ever have a proper wedding instead of just going to the JP's office, I certainly don't want it to have the trappings of a white wedding.
I keep a tiny sewing kit in my bag. It has: fold-up scissors, four needles, two tiny safety pins, five colours of thread (white, black, silver, red, brown. Two sets of each colour) and an assortment of buttons. The whole thing is maybe the size of a box of tic-tacs.
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun....I love the idea of getting married. Wearing the dress, walking down the aisle, my future wife standing there in her tux, having our (good) family and friends there, etc.
Speaking of cheap clothes, this morning some lady asked me where I got my shirt from. Well I got the shirt for $3 at an estate sale and made accents with ribbons I got on a spool from the dollar store From the look on her face I think she expected me to say some sort of expensive boutique. Victory!
