Tam: Would that be a link to Air Wolf or something like that? I am behind a content filter atm.
The Speed hawk is like a glider, a push prop, and a helicopter had a threesome. Kinda neat and wild looking though.
The Mil Mi-38 is kinda long looking in body.

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48And now your brain shall warp. BEHOLD MY POWERS OF CHAOS PITIFUL SERVANT OF THE DEAD EMPEROR!
Who watches the watchmen? Its a link to Johnny Cash singing "I've Been Everywhere, Man", teufel. Quite appropriate for the Eurocopter Merlin, I think.
Tam: Ahh indeed.
Who watches the watchmen?Who the hell thought that two off center engines was enough for a vertical aircraft anyway?
Fight smart, not fair.Watching the Battle of Britain on Channel 5. Boy, do those Merlin-engined Bf-109s look ugly.
Surely the stories of real-life RAF and Luftwaffe pilots involved in the Battle would have been better than what they chose to go with?
It doesn't help much that the print Channel 5 is showing has numerous faults. Visual artifacts all over the shop.

That film did ensure the survival of some of the Spitfires and Hurricanes, though — and during the time of filming, they'd assembled the "35th largest air force in the world".
Keep Rolling OnAnd Tora! Tora! Tora! gave the US the Confederate-er Commerative Air Force.
Before years before he passed, daddy took me to see one of their airshows, that show was so awesome. People driving by and airlines taxing past the flight line stopped to watch.
All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48Yeah, the Commemorative Air force guys are cool. They have a B-29 in airworthy condition. The world's best ever piston engined bomber. They call it Fifi. Fluffy the Terrible or what?
I've seen a 5-Ton truck named "Finding Nemo" and a HMMWV named "Princess Sparkle"...
If you go, be prepared to eat lot's of deep fried American goodness (mmmm....cheeseburgers...)

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48Probably a cliche, but if I was a pilot or a crew chief, I would want to call my airframe "Rainbow Dash".
The crew chiefs name the airframes, after all, they fix'em. There are military bronies. FOB Equestria....no really.

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Cool. Favourited site in about two minutes. Some of the fan art on that page is amazing.

Bad Tam. I'm going to fetch a rolled-up newspaper...
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'If it wasn't for this site, I would never have heard of Rainbow Dash or any of the other Ponies in MLP:Fi M.
My Ponyfilter2000 (tm) is still operating within acceptable parameters.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'-calls air strike on the FOB- We must contain this infection.
Who watches the watchmen?I say we nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Ah Pima Air Museum, she gives us the Douglas EA-1F Skyraider. The engine spews soot, the time to worry is when it wasn't blowing oil. Someone got the idea to turn a 2 seat prop plane (that did a good job in the jet age) into a four seat EW aircraft. There was even a 12(!) passenger carrier on-board delivery version, the UA-1E. I'm guessing it's a "inhale when your buddy exhales and get that elbow out of my eye" seating...
random Patriot pics:
- the Antenna Mast Group
- ROK/US soldiers practice missile reload.
And with the military bronies, my vengeance is complete, warpspawn Muahahaha!...

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48The Fleet Air Arm used 50 of the AD-1W AEW versions — the AN/APS-20 radar also ended up in the Fairey Gannet, and then later in the Shackleton, which was in use until 1991.
Keep Rolling OnWait wait, the French used the Spad in Chad to drop beer bottles on Libyan chavs? That's almost poetic.
"In Chad they even used the aft station for a "bombardier" and his "special stores" – empty beer bottles – as these were considered as non-lethal weapons, thus not breaking the government-imposed rules of engagement, during operations against Libyan-supported rebels in the late 1960s and early 1970s." - from the wiki article on the Skyraider.
That Merlin is freaking everywhere, man. I bet it's theme tune is this:
