It doesn't actually say that, but some people think pre flood or pre fall people were vegetarians. Some Apocrypha/ bored theologian thing.

I once saw this guy who was claiming that Humongous Mecha sucked because Iron Man and WITCH would suck if they had giant robots.

@Roman: According to Genesis, God says that Adam and Eve can eat all the plants they like. He later tells Noah's sons that they can eat all the plants and animals they like, with some important exceptions (no blood).

But it never says that they can't eat meat. That's just someone's interpretation.

I'm not sure it says the blood thing, either. I know there are a set of Noahide commandments, and one of them is the prohibition of drinking blood, but I'm not sure if it's in Genesis or not.

Yes, the blood thing is in Genesis, right after the flood story.

I have a question

This is a re-statement of a previous post...

There is much disinformation and innuendo about the New World Order, Illuminati and groups of the like. The symbols are not as important as understanding the goals and how they affect the average person. Unmasking the conspiracy is no longer as important as understanding the conspiracy.

I will speak plainly here because all who have eyes can clearly see the conspiracy with only a little research. From the time of its creation, the Illuminati set out its goals. The goals are in our constitution. They were declared in the French Revolution, "The Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen.” They are in the UN charter. They are incorporated in all western education systems. If you have completed a western liberal arts education and accept the scientific theory, critical thinking and reject faith, you are already indoctrinated in the views of the illuminati.

Do your research. You will see the goals of the Illuminati is 1) do away with religion (separation of Church and State) 2) do away with war (universal government or the UN which includes universal culture, money, court system and all other things to help avoid war), 3) universal education based on science and math (public education and based on Greco-Roman liberal arts- which is based on Egyptian system of "mysteries" http://www.unexplain...ry-Schools.html ), 4) mastery of environment or surrounding (being done today through science and technology with such things as solar energy, internet, etc.) and 5) population control (being done through abortion, birth control, genetic manipulation). The completion of each of these goals allow for the pursuit of the other. Population control is the last. It is not clear how they will do it, but it will be done.

Some have speculated this will be done by war, famine, pestilence, disease, terrorism, controlled "natural" disasters, or a combination of the above. Time will tell. The goal is to reduce the planet from 6.8 billion to about 500 million that is the loss of more than 95% of the population. Chances are that will directly affect both you and I My link.

Is this Insane Troll Logic or just Insane Troll?

That's not insane logic, it's just false premises.

Just because someone has a different interpretation does not mean they're wrong.

Conversely, just because you have a different interpretation does not mean you're right either.

"Die, Christianity, you don't belong on this world!"

"It was not by our hand that we have always been given faith. Our faith was brought forth by Jesus Christ, the only son of God, who takes away the sins of this world!"

"Sins? You count men's souls, and make them your followers!"

"Perhaps the same could be said of all belief systems."

"Your words are as empty as your tenets. Mankind ill needs a savior such as you!"

"What is a man? A poor soul wandering upon this world, in need of spiritual and emotional fulfillment! But enough talk...have at you!"

(Note: This post not meant to be an endorsement of either side. And heck, I'm more likely to endorse Christianity that conspiracy theorists.)

I don't know if this example counts, but once I was reading TIME magazine, and a guy in the letter column was ranting at the movie reviewer giving a positive review of Iron Man, saying how the real villains are "not the arms dealers, but the moviemakers out to promote war as fun" or something. It seemed to me that he was thinking "Movie contains cool action scenes with the military, therefore it's pro-war."

A rather egregious case of reverse Truffaut Was Right?

Why do I imagine that Christianity as an RPG boss would be awesome?

On topic, I think some of my logic qualifies. Also, anything that, at it's heart, says "I am Squicked, therefore, it's objectively wrong."

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe.

One never feels grief for the departed - but for oneself. One never feels pity and compassion for the departed - but for oneself.

Do not take grief lightly, for not only will it cause you to be reborn as an "animal", but you will cause the departed to share your plight. Together as animals you will continually fight each other for what you have done to each other. How do I know this? By looking!

Also I once heard this argument:

1.People say that atheists aren't spiritual.

2.Spirituality means morality.

3.Atheists can be moral.

4.Thus atheists are spiritual  *
