Enjoys
Virtual On and it's OST. In fact, at the time of writing this, she's listening to
Sweet Tragedy of Dreams
from Oratorio Tangram. No I do not have odd taste in music, stop looking at me like that!

Influential Things (In no particular order):
Tropes Merely Enjoyed:
Tropes in This Troper's life:
Tropes present in Lost Worlds, my current video game project:
- Abnormal Ammo: With special injection ammo, a gun can be made to fire any chemical a player can produce in significant amounts. Also applies to the other kinds of alternate ammo.
- Alternative Calendar: The Recorded History, or RH, calendar, developed by The Unnamed Country, which uses the calendar's creation itself as the reference point.
- Constructed World: Especially the alternate chemistry.
- Cool Airship: The whole premise of the game.
- Crate Expectations: Used to store and transport items in bulk, like, well, crates.
- Artistic License - Chemistry (Elements Do Not Work That Way): They do now.
- Explosive Instrumentation: Being steam powered, machinery will actually do this if pressurized beyond the limit.
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair: Any hair, eye and even skin color is a viable choice for a PC.
- Gratuitous Latin: Arca Prima, the place orders from higher up come from, and Arca Decima, the ship portrayed in the game.
- Hollywood Acid: It's fairly easy to make corrosive chemicals that will damage things and players they come into contact with.
- Item Crafting: What the Mechanics skill is for when it's not used for making alterations to the ship layout itself.
- Karma Meter: The Honor gauge. You can certainly be evil and keep this high, getting the bonuses it offers in return, but you'll have to play fair in your quest for injustice.
- Lightning Can Do Anything: It adds a lot of energy to a chemical mixture, which might lead to interesting results.
- Lizard Folk: The lizards have characteristics of this, though they are only cognizant of their immediate surroundings at best.
- Magic Meteor: They sometimes contain exotic elements, which are the true source of any unusual effects.
- Schizo Tech: Rampant in the second and first versions, to the point that it wasn't really steampunk enough, and still hiding in places in Third Edition.
- Sky Pirate: Planned feature.
- Start My Own: It began as this to Space Station 13.
- Steam Punk: Third Edition is more so than other versions, but all of them have this as a theme.
- Technicolor Science: Colorful chemicals are interesting, easy to differentiate, and lend a mad science feel to the game.
- The Sky Is An Ocean: Given the aesthetic of the game, practically required.
- Toxic Phlebotinum: A vast majority of the phlebotinum, in fact.
- Universal Universe Time: Partially Averted: Rakko IV uses a 24-hour day, but there are only 40 minutes in an hour due to me messing up the clock graphics, and therefore, a Rakkonian minute is exactly 1.5 Earth seconds, using the scaled time of the game. Also averted by the in-universe calendar.
- World of Badass: The most effective thing you can do with your Leadership skill? Challenge people to a duel.
- Zeppelins from Another World: Obviously.

Ahoy! I hereby vandalize this page. It's astonishing how many interests we have in common... though that may just be the troper hive mind at work. ~
