RENAGADE'S LIFE STORY

Opening Credits: Disturbia - Rihanna (Oh good lord, This is gonna be one hell of a show)

Waking Up: Who Can It Be Now - Men at Work (Fucking Visitor woke me up from sleep, ass)

First Day Of School: Pump It - Black Eyed Peas (Speaks volumes about my school, I'm sure)

Fight Song: (skip used) This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race - Fall Out Boy (I dig it)

Breaking Up: Catch a Star - Men at Work (Second Ma W song, not my first choice, but it works)

Prom: {Firestorm} - cornandbeans (Got this one off of Newgrounds, it's a techno song, which is awesome, 'cuz I love techno)

Life's OK: The Doomsday - Snapple Man (I have no words, except DAMN this should've been my Final Battle song.)

Mental Breakdown: The Farthest Star - VNV Nation (The will to greatness clouds the mind, consumes the senses, veils the signs, we each are meant to recognize. Nice)

Driving: Billie Jean - Michael Jackson - (Heh,)

Flashback: Photograph - Nickelback (Good choice)

Getting Back Together: Two of the Lucky Ones - The Droge and Summers Blend (Excellent Choice)

Wedding: If Everyone Cared - Nickelback (*shrug* I guess it works.)

Birth Of Child: Ms. Jackson - Out Kast (I laughed so hard)

Final Battle: Everybody Wants Some!! - Van Halen (FUCK YEAH!)

Death Scene: The Old Man Down the Road - John Fogerty (Meh)

Funeral Song: Grey Street - Dave Matthews Band (Aw, I like this song, but it's not very Funeral-y, well I guess it could be, but still)

Let's see what ya'll get. Also, I wasn't really sure whether or not this belonged here or in the games, but it was more music inclined, if anything, so yeah.

Mike K'S LIFE STORY

Opening Credits: Chemical Brothers - Get Up On It Like This

Waking Up: Anton Dermota - Gluck das Mir Verblieb

First Day Of School: Butter 08 - What Are You Wearing?

Falling In Love: Gorillaz - Sweepstakes

Fight Song: Melvins - Ligature

  • It's The Melvins, so it's fairly suitable for fighting.

Breaking Up: Atlas Sound - An Orchid

Prom: They Might Be Giants - Boat Of Car

  • Probably the least conducive-to-slow-dancing (or indeed any kind of dancing) song I could have possibly gotten for this. But interesting.

Life's OK: MGMT - Congratulations

Mental Breakdown: Andrew WK - Fun Night

  • At least I'm having fun during my mental breakdown, I guess?

Driving: Big Star - Life Is White

Flashback: R.E.M. - Losing My Religion

  • I guess for the song to be fully appropriate I'm flashing back to obsessing over someone in the early 90's.

Getting Back Together: Chuck Berry - Roly Poly

Wedding: Janelle Monae - Dance Or Die

Birth Of Child: Tanya Donelly - Pretty Peep

Final Battle: Ringo Starr - Oh, My My

  • A vaguely discofied Ringo Starr song for a "final battle"? That's some major soundtrack dissonance right there.

Death Scene: PJ Harvey - This Mess We're In

Funeral Song: The Velvet Underground - Oh! Sweet Nuthin'

  • This kind of works as one, actually. Kind of.

End Credits: Helmet - Clean

Waking Up: 'Todd's Ship Gods' - Type O Negative (Uh...).

Falling In Love: 'Until It Sleeps' - Metallica (It's a stormy kinda love, as Bono would say).

Fight Song: 'Blood For Blood' - Machine Head (Hells yeah).

Breaking Up: 'Play Dead' Bjork (Suitably, a change of pace).

Prom: 'Lust For Life' Iggy Pop (They serve H at proms now?).

Life's OK: 'Kick Out The Jams' MC 5 (Eminently suitable).

Mental Breakdown: 'Drawing Flies' Soundgarden (Slightly less so).

Driving: 'Street Carp' Deftones (I drive a fish. How about you?).

Flashback: 'Throw This Away' Nine Inch Nails (Grim).

Getting Back Together: 'X.Y.U.' Smashing Pumpkins (It couldn't be any more ironic).

Wedding: 'Underwater Love' Faith No More (Not exactly stately).

Birth Of Child: 'Freak' Silverchair (Wicked infanticidal).

Final Battle: 'Hate To Feel' Alice in Chains (Murder-suicide?)

Death Scene: 'Undertow' Tool (About right).

Funeral Song: 'There's A Light That Never Goes Out' The Smiths (My first choice for breakup song, but it'd be popular for funerals too).

End Credits: 'Fucking Hostile' Pantera (Totes).

I hate this game, but whatever.

MY LIFE STORY Opening Credits: Rotary Ten - R.E.M.

Waking Up: Self Destruction, Final - NIN

First Day Of School: Pink - Aerosmith (this beyond words...)

Falling In Love: Some Fantastic - Barenaked Ladies (sounds sadistic)

Fight Song: Love Bites - Def Leppard (interesting)

Breaking Up: Can't Get Enough Of You Baby - Smash Mouth (wouldn't this have made more sense switched with the one a space above?)

Prom: (Untitled) - Oasis (it was 43 seconds long...)

Life's OK: The Hammer - Motörhead (all thing's considered, this is good)

Mental Breakdown: Fields of Gold - Sting (this has been known to happen...)

Driving: The Trial - Pink Floyd (utterly horrifying)

Flashback: Stay Or Leave - Dave Matthews

Getting Back Together: Wond'ring Alond - Jethro Tull

Wedding: How Much For Your Wings? - The Black Crowes

Birth Of Child: Apache Rose Peacock - Red Hot Chili Peppers (wonderful)

Final Battle: Starseed - Our Lady Peace (so anticlimactic...)

Death Scene: You've Got To Hide Your Love Away - The Beatles (now there's a song to die to)

Funeral Song: High And Dry - Radiohead

End Credits: Knock'Em Dead, Kid - Mötley Crüe

And that's why I hate this game. It was filled with senseless lyrics and musical dissonance. Unless...

Opening credits: "Midlife Crisis", Faith No More (Oddly enough, this song would be awesome for actual opening credits.)

Waking up: "Down in the Park", Gary Numan (I woke up in the park? Remind me never to go drinking again.)

First day of school: "Angel of Death", Slayer (I'm guessing Josef Mengele is the school nurse.)

Falling in love: "Check My Brain", Alice in Chains (I'm so in love that my brain switched off, perhaps?)

Fight song: "The End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)", REM (Something tells me I lost the fight.)

Breaking up: "To Build a Mountain", Crowbar (That must have been a really nasty breakup.)

Prom: "Come to the Sabbath", Mercyful Fate (My prom was a Satanic cult, apparently.)

Life's OK: "Slowly We Rot", Obituary (My life is not OK.)

Mental breakdown: "Passenger", Deftones (Strangely enough, this one actually, somehow, fits.)

Driving  *

: "Cain", Tiamat (I've got nothing to say. Unless I get betrayed on the road... by the goddess Tiamat.)

Flashback: "Dopethrone", Electric Wizard (A flashback to some awesome trip I had.)

Getting back together: "Hallowed Be Thy Name", Iron Maiden (Wow. Just... wow. It must have been an awesome reunion, but still, the song's about an execution...)

Wedding: "The Curse of Medusa", Stormlord (Is my iPod implying something?)

Birth of child: "Scumgrief", Fear Factory (See above.)

Final battle: "Roll the Fire", Conception (A tad quiet for the final battle, but it's still epic, So Yeah.)

Death scene: "Incarnated Solvent Abuse", Carcass (I'd need a medical dictionary to understand what the fuck the song's about, but from what I can tell, my death is gory.)

Funeral song: "Killed by the Queen", Gallhammer (Ouch...)

End credits: "Stein um Stein", Rammstein (This implies that, after the funeral, my corpse was sealed in a wall.)

No skips used. Make of this list what you will.

Okay, I tried "BLUEEYEDRAT'S LIFE STORY, AS TOLD BY VIDEO GAME MUSIC" but it failed hard. Exactly one song actually fit somewhat— a "waking up" theme. Though, an 8-bit song for a "flashback" theme is pretty meta. (For the record, the most ridiculous one was my "first day of school" music, and I gave up when this became my "wedding" theme and this became my "death" theme.)

Polarity's LIFE STORY:

Opening Credits: It's Time To Dance - Panic! At The Disco (PULLING THE TRIGGER!!! Fuck yeah, i like it)

Waking Up: Enter Sandman - Metallica ( wow, kinda appropiate... but inversed EXIT LIGHT!!! EEEENTER NIGHT!!!)

First Day Of School: The Falling Stone - Therion (Huh, was hoping this kind of song would be in final battle, but it fits my way of seeing my school.)

Falling In Love: Violet Hill - Coldplay (wow, a fitting song about war and love with a sad tone... how appropiate)

Fight Song: Paradigm Shift - Liquid Tension Experiment ( a fitting instrumental that always gets my blood pumpin'!)

Breaking Up: Stupify - Disturbed (Wow, that will be some pretty hardcore breakup... LOOK IN MAH FAEZ STARE IN MAH SOUL!! I BEGIN TO STUPIFY!! RAH!!!)

Prom: (skip used to skip guarded by disturbed) Through The Fire And Flames - Dragonforce (another epic song for school, but appropiate...cool!)

Life's OK: Elvenpath - Nightwish (okay...what.the.fuck. so elves and magic brings me peace? oh well, suitable...)

Mental Breakdown: Run This Town - Jay Z feat. Rihanna (either soundtrack dissonance in the most perverted way, or i will have some megalomaniac complex when the time comes...)

Driving: Hallelujah - Paramore ( looks like my time in the car wont be happy...or maybe it will!)

Flashback: Crush - David Archuletta (ok i think i know what the flashback is about...)

Getting Back Together: Hallowed Be Thy Name - Iron Maiden (wow, not very appropiate is it? Who knows...)

Wedding: Hands Held High - Linkin Park (Ok, now it makes sense, i live in the future world were we are a part of the resistance, that makes everything make sense)

Birth Of Child: Waking Dreams - Ayreon (hmm... seems like my son or daughter will be pretty badass)

Final Battle: Shadow Of The Day - Linkin Park (biggest soundtrack dissonance ever...an epic soundtrack, and the final boss gets a tranquil tune about death? seems like the next part should be...)

Death Scene: When The Lights Are Down - Kamelot (well, at least the death part is epic maybe they switched... I hope... Sigh)

Funeral Song: Indestructible - Disturbed (the bomb alarm does not help the feeling that i probably live in a Crapsack World )

Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.

NINJA-Z'S LIFE STORY:

Opening Credits: The Girl Can't Help It, Little Richard (So the movie for my life is apparently a retro 50's flick. I can dig that.)

Waking Up: Better Now, Collective Soul (The opposite of how I feel most mornings, but hey, it's a movie adaptation, there are liberties taken)

First Day of School: Work it Out, Sonic R Soundtrack ("Work it out, work it out, think about it" - pretty apt.)

Falling in Love: Love is All There Is, Sheryl Crow (Bit of a bittersweet falling in love song, but hey, it works!)

Fight Song: (Skip used) Steal My Body Home, Beck (I try to imagine a fight to this song, and all I can see is extreme slow-mo kung fu, mixed in with kaleidoscope visuals and distorted camera lenses. It's an artsy fight scene, I guess.)

Breaking Up: Everybody Wants You, Billy Squier (Dang; I lost my girl to just about every other guy in my neighborhood. Jeez.)

Prom: No Sleep Till Brooklyn, Beastie Boys (If only they played this at actual prom...)

Life's OK: Picture in a Frame, Tom Waits (Probably would have been a better "Funeral Song," but ah well.)

Mental Breakdown: Ashes to Ashes, David Bowie (Hahah; this works really well. I'm a junkie apparently, and that's why I'm crazy.)

Driving: Step into Christmas, Elton John (So what if it's out of season? I can still drive to it, dammit!)

Flashback: Day Tripper, The Beatles (Works nicely.)

Getting Back Together: Children's Story, Slick Rick (Umm...we got together robbing people? Wha...?)

Wedding: Love Machine, Arctic Monkeys (Hahahah, this is so campy and awesome, it just works. And I can imagine the dancing to it too...)

Birth of Child: Troublemaker, Weezer (Hoo boy; we got a handful.)

Final Battle: I Want You to Want Me, Cheap Trick (I'm fighting my wife, apparently. Why, I...eh. This is a weaker one.)

Death Scene: Shadow of a Man, Oysterhead (This fits the songs for the "Fight Theme" and "Mental Breakdown" in being mind-numbingly trippy. And now I'm a 'Nam vet too. Named Billy.)

Funeral Song: Strange Magic, ELO (I guess this works)

End Credits: Astair, Matt Costa (Eh; kind of a poor finish. Ah well.)
