You're talking movie version, right? I seem to remember the original book a little differently. Unfortunately, I let a relative borrow it years ago and never got it back.

I don't believe it's ever been adapted into a movie.

Hell, I don't think a movie version is even possible.

That's the plot of The Planet of the Apes, but I can't think of a book that uses it.
