I'd say that if there was a break up, it would've been shortly after that episode where Benson got his good luck stolen for a while by Rigby.

charles stiles mystery dinersI was thinking that myself, as I previously commented, but it's just that thing with Skips plus the fact they have been so on their game with continuity that makes me stop to consider the possibility.
Improving as an author, one video at a time. They've been dating since season five. You can hear Benson say he took her out to a Jazz Concert in a recent episode.
This thursday's episode: Margaret and CJ have a Curb-Stomp Battle for Mordecai's bird cock, then they both die from Gary Bobby Furguson's giant forehead bash
Nah, SHE'S coming back.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI'm not really upset about her coming back. Maybe people are overreacting.
I'm not either. My only fear is something stupid happening writing wise, but I trust the series enough.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.To be honest, I trust the writers. Like the time they showed Mordecai's depression in a rational long amount of time. As someone who's been through that, it felt realistic and understandable.
I'm in the camp of people saying that that promo is a dream sequence and the writers will work around our expectations.
Wow. Muscle Man can be a douche, but those gifts, man.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefthe elf though
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Anyone else notice the position of that giftbox when the White Elephant got up and walked away?
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThe first half was weak, but now it's time for the most commented on ep in a few seconds!
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceMORDECAI, YOU M—... FUCKIN.... GAAAAAAHHHHH......
Ooh... just when you expect things to end on a lighthearted note...
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefYOU FUCKING DUMBASS! WHY WOULD YOU GO AND KISS HER, YOU PRICK?!
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceDid you want more Mordecai relationship drama? I heard you wanted more Mordecai relationship drama. Now in a Love Triangle edition.

Well that's unfortunate. I was sure they were going to take the less traveled route and have Mordecai and Margaret make peace and still be friends without all the relationship drama. Instead we go the more cliched route.
Kind of disappointing.
Yeah considering all the lessons he's been learning I figured...ah whatever. I had feeling deep down they where gonna go with this route.
Live your life.Ugh, giving me bad Legend of Korra vibes if you know what I mean. .
...you gotta be...I mean after all the character development Mordecai's is flushed down the drain in the last seconds? Hardly anyone liked Mordecai x Margaret I believe which is why it was a Romantic Plot Tumor, and now the girl that goes good with him will probably DUMP him after stabbing her in the back AGAIN?
Seriously writers?
I hope to God this will all get resolved in the next ep.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI liked Mordecai and Margaret together but they didn't keep it up and had him moved on so they should keep it that way. If they wanted him and Margaret to get back together (which I still don't think they're going to do) they should have had Mordecai's and CJ's breakup be unrelated to her.
This just feels sort of forced.

Like, my biggest fear is that they are going to go Derailing Love Interest with Margaret and reveal that she is being a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing.
Seriously writers?
And it had to come back in the worst possible way too. The weakest part of the series and the Christmas special had to end up like that.
This just feels sort of forced.
It is forced and contrived, this was the worst and most painfully cliched things they could've done. It's bs like this that's why people have a problem with romance and how it's portrayed in movies and tv shows.

I'm pretty sure the park crew's confusion at Benson's reveal that he had broken up with Audrey was just a Lampshade Hanging on the fact that the viewers were never shown that it happened (because there wasn't an episode about it) and they (the show's writers) probably didn't want to give off the vibe that there was a missing or delayed episode or something. I mean, the fact that Skips, the more reliable character in the park, didn't even know about it pretty much says it all.
That said, the idea that Benson's memories (And love life) were tampered with just to keep up the masquerade makes a lot of sense giving the last episode's premise.
