Well, Turnabout Substitution and Turnabout Of Courage are the only ones I know of which have pages on this wiki.

I checked out vids of those two, and they look interesting, but a bit rough.

Also the bestest Cross-Examination music is 2004. smile

At NYCC they had a demo for Ace Attorney HD on the iOS, and the guy working there said that it doesn't have a set release date, but it's coming out in the fall. I hope that's the case, as I'm really looking forward to getting it.

[up] I assume you mean Pursuit~ Caught 2004. tongue

Also guys, are you aware that there was once an Ace Attorney version of Thirty Hs? Its name was Phoenix's Turnabout, by Witch of Truth. Sadly, it was taken down from Fanfiction Dot Net, (due to being obviously a Troll Fic) but two of its chapters remain, sporked by Nenilein over at Court Records. Sporking of chapter 1: http://z11.invisionfree.com/court_records/index.php?showtopic=3952&view=findpost&p=8843397

Sporking of chapter 2 (warning: this chapter's...weird): http://z11.invisionfree.com/court_records/index.php?showtopic=3952&view=findpost&p=8851035

Fanart has also been done by the sporkers: (WARNING: Chainsaw lightning dolphin swords within. I think. 1.

Have fun reading. evil grin

[up] Ahhh, oh well. sad Is there any way to show images here? Oh, and I was actually wrong. That You Tube video youshowed up there actually WAS Pursuit~ Cornered! (Variation), not Pursuit~ Caught. It's just that many in this fandom refer to ALL the Pursuit themes as 'the (Insert AA game here) Cornered theme' or 'Pursuit~ Cornered 200X' due to First Installment Wins when it comes to the Pursuit themes. (They're actually Pursuit~ Cornered (GS 1) Pursuit~ Questioned (GS 2) Pursuit~ Caught (GS 3) Pursuit~ Overtaken (GS 4) Pursuit~ Lying Coldly (GK 1) and Pursuit~ Wanting to Find the Truth (GK 2).

Oh, and I've noticed a lot of characters have a thing that they'll Never Live It Down. The biggest offender is DEFINITELY Grossberg. Grossberg is never, ever, ever, EVER going to live down the hemorrhoid jokes from Turnabout Memories. EVER. Kristoph won't live down his the fact he wears nail polish.

Useless side note: In the Ask Ace Attorney 'verse, it's apparently in-universe too, as Hobo Phoenix cites it as a possible reason Kristoph might be Ambiguously Gay when trying to sink the Kristoph/Phoenix ship, and Ema says in one of her letters that nail polish doesn't beat science. Kristoph's attitude doesn't help matters at all there. (One letter's conversation: "THE NAIL POLISH IS A LIE!!!" - Sender of letter "*does his smirk and shake head animation* Do these nails look like fabrication to you?" - Kristoph Gavin. Also, it's this thread's fault I now read the AAA blog on a daily basis.)

Lawyer!Phoenix will never live down cross-examining the parrot, but this is an example of Tropes Are Not Bad, due to, well...

Hobo!Phoenix will never live down the forging of the Bloody Ace.

Trucy may or may not live down the whole magic panties thing in 4-2.

Zak Gramarye will never live down...well, basically everything he did in the flashback case and beyond.

Any more examples you guys can think of? waii

EDIT: Aaaaaand what do you guys think of the 'Prosecutor Justice' theory Neni and a few others have got going on. (Link): http://www.forums.court-records.net/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=24186

So I'm playing the series for the first time and I'm really enjoying myself. just frustrated at the moment because the game is stupidly obtuse. I'm on the first game in Episode 4 with Miles on trial and against Von Karma.

"Look for contradictions!" he says.

The contradiction is fucking obvious. She heard TWO gunshots. The gun says it was fired THREE times. The autopsy says it was a SINGLE bullet that killed the dude.

There - contradictions! And yet it keeps saying they're all wrong.

I mean, seriously. I don't want to look at a FAQ. This is so fucking obvious but it won't accept it.

EDIT: So I cracked and looked. So I wasn't supposed to find contradictions at all, just Press every statement. What BS.

von Karma is pretty awesome though. I like his demonic "Objection!"

When in doubt, press every statement at least once. In fact, I always press every statement even when the contradiction is present in an early part of the testimony, just in case (Not to mention you get some funny stuff sometimes).

Is it a crossover if the two works are from the same universe?...

(Speaking of which, there'd better be a Continuity Nod or at least a Mythology Gag regarding Ghost Trick in AA 5.)

-Thread Hop-

I really need help with Pearls' Alibi (Case 2-2). I get that she was on the Winding Way and playing with trash in the incinerator or something, but I don't know what piece of evidence will trigger the psyche-lock breakthrough.

[up]That's an awfully specific think to recall. There are walkthroughs for this, you know?

I know, but this laptop is limited by an internet filter. The wiki doesn't have the relevant information, there's no wikispace walkthroughs and the one cheat site I've found has the other 2 Phoenix Wright games but not this one.

Alright, according to this walkthrough I got open, the pieces of evidence you need to present are a ball, a cracked urn, and Ami Fey's profile.
