Gorobei seeing the "test" coming a mile away in the original was one of the most memorable bits. And apparently he's arrow catching personified in this version? Nice.

He does catch and arrow in the show yes, and is probably the third strongest of the Samurai in the show. He is also really weird but amusing, being a street performer when the others first meet him.

His antics can be very amusing yet he is still scary awesome.
