This whole discussion about the movie could get it's own thread at this rate.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Quick, somebody cast another work!
Fear is a superpower.I might, if I have the time during break.
I'll try to think of something in a few hours.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.I think I'll try casting Blaz Blue again, but starting with Calamity Trigger and only doing it with the characters listed per game.
Dear god that was one helluva derail. Plot seems a bit derpy to me, and I'd suggest a different plot with the same casting, but it would be best to switch to other works. Troperfilm could get own thread.

Let's do it!
[forum cryptid: it/it's]I think a bit of a derpy plot suits "TV TROPES: THE MOVIE" perfectly.
...derpy? Derpy?
What does that even mean? Haha I'm not offended I just don't exactly know what to think of that.
I did spend all of three minutes coming up with it, so it's bound to be a little rushed (read: stupid).
I'm thinking of casting Stargate SG 1.
Fear is a superpower.A little awkward, a little silly.
You did a pretty good job for a three minute setup
Well, that hypothetical story sounds good.
And I can't wait for SG-1.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else-Waiting for the Stargate SG 1 casting-
By the way, I kinda like the proposed scenario for TV Tropes The Movie, I get to be one of the Big Damn Heroes! :D
Look upon my R.O.U.S., ye mighty, and despair!Jack O'Neill - Hail Stormer
Daniel Jackson - Terls
Teal'c - Bacon
Samantha Carter - Murky Muse
General Hammond - Earl
Cameron Mitchell - Mike
Vala Mal Doran - Daft Punch
Thor - Dopants
Apophis - Omega
Osiris - Rachel
Ba'al - Faust
Anubis - Dhana
Hmm. This wasn't easy and it needs some help. Got any suggestions?
Fear is a superpower.Hmmmm, I'm not sure about who else to cast.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseHaving never seen Stargate and taking a cursory glance at this Thor character, I'm not sure what my opinion is.
Hm
He's part of the race of the Asgard who came to earth and helped the ancient Scandinavians (and others) and protected them from the other aliens who wanted to exploit them for resources.
The Asgard are The Greys who are also Benevolent Precursors.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseSpeak for yourself, apparently.
I like Thor, so take it as a compliment?
Fear is a superpower.I will, thanks.
The Asgardians are my favourite example of The Greys, personally.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerSame here.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else- Eddie Riggs: Dhana Ragnarok
- Leader of Drowning Doom (AKA Drowned Ophelia): Rather Random Rachel
- Emperor Doviculus: Lord Herobrine
- Ormagöden: Fast Eddienote
- Guardian of Metal: Noaqiyeum (half-tempted to cast Ozbourne for obvious reasons :P)
- General Lionwhyte: Sean Murray I
- Ophelia: Ozbourne
- Lars Halford: terlwyth
- Lita Halford: Daft Punch
- The Baron: Egregious One (because Rob Halford)
- Kill Master: resetlocksley
- Mangus: Bisected 8
- The Hunter: Bacon Maniac 5000
- Fletus: Omega Shadowcry
- Headbanger: Kesagake
As usual, all unlisted roles are open (well... it's largely the factional unit types and Kabbage Boy that's open, but...)

I now go by Graf von Tirol.
My only prereq is that I come away alive, if not triumphant. Ich bin Der Ubermensch and I am Chaotic Neutral.
