Regarding the marijuana farms, yeah, if they were legal farms, their pesticide use could be regulated. You don't generally worry about safety inspectors showing up to check your paperwork if the inspectors don't know you exist. I understand many top-secret government research places like Area 51 traditionally have the same problem, since nobody at OSHA has the clearance to get in and look around.

Also, I can't help but Face Palm at the idea of the baddies apologizing for wrongfully (by their own admission) kidnapping the woman, but insisting that she pay them for the costs of the kidnapping like it was her clerical error that lead to the associated costs. Fucking amateur hour.

Few months ago, Indonesian peacekeepers are accused of running a smuggling racket. Indonesian police are working with the UN in Darfur to check the allegations.

The TMPD is in full force in conducting security checks for the upcoming Ariana Grande concert in Chiba IIRC.

Among the security measure enforced is to leave your things at the nearest coin locker or use a transparent bag so that the police can easily check them.

The whole thing is a fucking mess. Three killed and many more injured. A nazi drove a car into the crowd of counter protesters.

They brought guns, mace, body armor, sledgehammers and shields. They attacked counter protestors for a while before moving onto police. After the crowds started getting broken up you had them running around trying to club any minority they could get their hands on.

The governor has declared a state of emergency.

It's a full scale riot over there.

It's been brought to light by a handful of officers resisting the system for which they had to go through hell.

900,000. Almost a million. Mostly targeting black and brown people.

While I think on some level a lot of us aren't particularly surprised by this, it's good to have some hard numbers and evidence.

Words fail to describe how incredibly wrong that is.

It looks like the info The Wanderer laid out earlier at the start of the post on the last page lays out that this obviously isn't the first time it has happened.

The NPA in Japan reports that a potential gang war is starting with the Yamaguchi-gumi, the Kobe Yamaguchi-gumi (Its offshoot) and the latter having its members create their own group.

The groups have problems in getting money through legit channels.

Sheridan police arrested a man after he admitted cutting himself and making up a story about being stabbed by someone who asked if he was a “neo-Nazi.”

Obviously the mere existence of the left is the cause of the violence upon this man.

If it didn't exist he wouldn't have done that.

Ugh.

A nurse in a Utah hospital was roughly arrested for refusing to let a police officer draw blood from an unconcious accident victim for whom they had no warrant and no probable cause, with her supervisor on speakerphone and both the law and hospital policy backing her up.

I don't even get why they wanted the patient's blood in the first place.

Sounds like a police chase went down, suspect was killed and another driver hurt. Maybe hoping he was impaired to clear their own asses.

Either way, the officers involved should probably be fired based on their contempt for the law alone, to say nothing of an unlawful arrest.
