I absolutely loved the Retsublitz and I'm sad that it's over, but it'll also be nice to have more than a couple hours to discuss the latest RP video before another one comes up :)

I'm hoping it's either I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream or King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride; those've been kinda languishing. I know they have the issue that the former is covering some Dude, Not Funny! material and the latter has Queen Valanice faffing about for a long period of time doing nothing of consequence (at least until Kuroinokaze figures out mid-video how to turn up the walking speed), but still, I want more :<

Maybe its an Ultima game.

In the meantime, I dunno, Retsawards?

I'm hoping they do a wrongpurae of Harvester at some point, just because of how utterly bizarre it is. There's a lot to riff on, and the game's general atmosphere reminds me of Darkseed 2 for some reason.

From what I've read about Harvester, it is a twisted, twisted game.

Apparently Harvester's kind of genius if our page has anything to say about it. Someone really likes it.

So, what did you guys put for the Retsuawards? That You Testament category is brutal this year!

I had to give best Wrongpurae to True Shit. That video still brings a smile to my face every time.

And anything that lets me mock iJustine as a LP'r is a given.

True Shit is the only wrongpurae I've actively enjoyed.

I voted Pewdie as worst L Per. I think iJustine is worse, but she's ultimately been rejected by the Youtube community.

Team Billy all the way. After that Crash Test Dummies video, the choice was obvious.

Also, I voted Cobra: Space Adventures for best Wrongpurae.

That's the only one I remember voting for. It was my first-ever Retsupurae vid.

I think you got pretty much the best introduction you could ask for. That video is gold. Just like Mackenna's Gold.

I have fond memories of my first Wrongpurae. I was agog at the "quality" of the game.

Why is there not only Jallel White but all these web celebrities?

I mean hell Jon Tron started bashing the Sonic movie on Game Grumps and Egoraptor awkwardly had to try and defend it.

Egoraptor, don't defend it. All you were were the robots. You barely got any lines. You weren't even physically in it! Your voice was placed through a filter!!

And, honestly, Jaleel White's voice is far from what it used to be. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you, but, frankly, everyone who still expects that he could still convincingly pull off Sonic or Urkel needs a reality check. Hell, he spent an entire movie talking about how he wants to distance himself from past roles!

I can't believe Eddie Lebron got someone as energetic as Doug Walker and had him play a soldier who just stares awkwardly at Sonic for a minute without saying anything.

To be fair, White's still kinda got it. Yeah, his Sonic voice sounds a little older and gruffier, but it's still recognizably Sonic. Considering White looks like this today, you'd think he wouldn't be able to do it at all.

One of the film's biggest problems is the wasted potential. Ego Raptor's voice is made completely unrecognizable, Brental Floss and Doug Walker spend their scenes staring awkwardly and silently into space, and James Rolfe is reduced to Exposition Fairy (and even then, only once). No, instead the film decides to focus on a group of Z-grade no-names who can barely act and are unlikable from the first second we see them. The exception is whoever they got to play Eggman, which once again proves that Eggman can't have a bad performance.
