The secret to doing well in writing courses is employing Mary Sues in all of your stories.

Never been a problem with my class. We just had a guest writer,...one of the head honchos of the Department from Wabash College visit here.
Have you ever experienced any dissonance between what you liked or and what the class liked of your stories, because I absolutely didn't really like how my last story turned out that much while the rest of the class seemed to consider among my best.
Contrast that to my last one, which was decently received, but torn apart for being too fast paced and confusing,...while I thought I did a decent job keeping it moving.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterYaaay! Got my obligatory course paper in State Law back, and the teacher says it's in the upper layer!
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Terlwyth: That happens more often than you think. I once wrote a story in which the protagonist avoided getting torn apart by a mob by pretending to already be part of it. I thought it was seriously contrived and no one would believe it. Everyone else said that was clever.
So tonight I find out where I'm going to college.
If Georgia Tech decides to throw money at me, then that's where I'm going.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Had a graduate school info session yesterday and decided that I'm going to apply to the program. It's for an MLIS, a Masters of Library and Information Science.
Now I have two weeks to meet the deadline of March 1st...
fortiter in re, suaviter in modoI was recently accepted into VC Uarts, which is apart of the best university in the entire state, and is also #4 in the top art programs of the entire country. I am going for a bachelor's degree in Film. This was my dream.
I'm still in shock about it. Just, dazed. I'll... I'll talk about this more later. I can hardly grasp at the idea they thought I had potential, let alone how much financial aid I will be receiving: Pell Grant(5,550.00) Stafford Loan(9,500.00) and an expected family contribution of 0.00.
And everyone's just so proud of me and I just can't even
Yeah well you'll get into debt over that pretty quickly,...I wouldn't be bragging about Loan stuff Cutie.
Heaven knows I don't what I'll do if I don't get a good job to pay it off.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterYeah, I know loans can quickly turn into a negative thing down the road, but I'm prepared to deal with that.
Yeah, enjoy the Pell, but I strongly advise that you use the absolute minimum possible of that loan money.
<><Don't worry, I'm going to be looking for as much scholarship money as I possibly can. And any other route. Also, I'm hoping to get a job and save up money for it as well.
Well, at my University I found a group of leftists even more radical than the Marxists. Friggin' Trotskyists. I'm thinking of starting a Libertarian club just to spite them.
on a related note, when I joined the student union I got a free shot glass with their logo on it.

My school has a political science club that's mostly Republicans and a single Libertarian.
I think I'll refrain from joining to keep my blood pressure in check.
At my school the leftists and the libertarians are buddies, bonding over their shared quarrel with The Elites.
<><We had like maybe one or two Libertarians last year,....there might be some,...but they keep even quieter than the lefties or really play up the conservative economics.
For the most part,it's just the Religious Right that defines everything,...any other political background gets well hidden.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterSo for one of my classes, we have to interview a professional in the field we're hoping to work in.
My mind immediately jumped to Tom Preston.
That's an awful idea. I'm a comic major and he majored in animation.
Okay, this semester I'm doing maths, science and effective writing.
Maths seems like a pain. The lecturer seems to put excessive stress on how hard it will be, even though it shouldn't be much higher than high school maths stuff. Oh yeah, and the lectures are late, which is kind of annoying.
I think effective writing should be fun, and science's overview makes it look like lt'll even stray briefly into reasoning.

"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."But Math is a pain,...especially when Algebra is involved. I'm not sure how I'm still managing a D right now.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter... Every time I see Libertarian as a distinct political group I have to assume the posters are from America... am I right? I've never met someone who identifies in that group and isn't from the US.
"Lock up your girlfriends, lock up your wives, Grim's on the loose so run for your lives." - PyriteMy university has a conservative-libertarian club because if the two were separate, there wouldn't be enough of either to have two clubs.
One Piece blog Beyond the Lampshade...you know, I've never heard about any political group at my school. Well, I never bothered to look either, I have no interest whatsoever in politics.*
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.Well the first Mid-Term begins tomorrow.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter@Mister C. A President lacks a queen or some other figure head above them.

The Purple Prose was why I opted out of another British Literature class. It eventually gets too much. I find myself guilty of Beige Prose though if I write though... (It's possibly evident in my dream logs I usually place in the folder in my trope page).
Anywho, got two tests coming in close succession over the course of the next four days. I am due for a lot of toil.
