Remove the Doom example for sure, there have been plenty of iconic supervillains before him.

Also Galactus if it's just that sentence.

Alright, deleted the stuff from Galactus and Dr. Doom. What about Thanos and the Thing?

Characters.Marvel Comics Thanos: I don't know enough to tell if those are official nickname. This is another Marvel character with a MCU quote and may I ask - is the MCU character the only iconic version? Kinda wish it sticks to the comic.

Thanos is known as The Mad Titan in the comics and he was well known before the MCU because of the Infinity trilogy and a whole bunch of stories in the comics.

I found this on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Heroes in a Half-Shell. The Green Dudes with Attitudes. The World's Most Fearsome Fighting Team.

Yeah, that page needs a better preface than the current one.

Well, the Heroes in a Half Shell can stay given that that's what they're known as and Cowabunga is their catchphrase.

Adding a trope link to Holiday Personification is a good idea, but putting "The" sounds quite silly. I'd move that to "Santa Claus is the embodiment of Christmas", reformatting like "Santa Claus is the Holiday Personification of Christmas"

On Franchise/Transformers, the listing of the things for Transformers such as "The Friends and Foes of Humanity'' followed by "TRANSFORMERS! More than Meets the Eye!" was deleted because it didn't add anything but it was decided back when this thread was part of a more generalized clean up that it could stay. Besides, tons of characters like Popeye and Dr. Doom have those listings on their pages as well.

'fraid I don't remember when exactly this was discussed. Was it one of the gushing thread?

Regarding Franchise.Transformers... I don't want the page to be completely humor-less, but I agree with the edit that removed it because it was pretty overly long with "The" description. The preface with Title Theme Tune could stay, but other "The" things are too much.

Well, other pages have stuff like: Comic Strip/Popeye: The One Tough Gazooka. The Beater of Palookas Who Aren't On the Up and Square. The Pal of Those Who Keep Up Good Be-hav-or.

And above all, he eats his spinach!

Just removed "the Evil Overlord" and "the Sorcerous Overlord" from Characters.The Lord Of The Rings Sauron.

Keep. Stock Shōnen Hero starts with describing how Goku was the first, he's the first picture in that collage and the Anime and Manga section describes how he's the Codifier.
