In this thread, one poster lists a work, and the next poster makes up an urban legend/rumor surrounding it. Said urban legend/rumor can range from semi-believable to completely bizarre and non-sensical, but be careful not to delve into overly triggering/dark-spirited subject matter.

Snape is heavily based on a college professor that Rowling knew and he sued her when he noticed the similarities but was convinced to drop the lawsuit in exchange for a large amount of money and his niece getting a cameo in one of the films.

Allegedly, there exist animatics for a full-blown Justice League Crossover that never got greenlit.

There's an unused Chomik that's allegedly in the game's creator's hard drive. Known to cause a bug that almost crashed the then-unfinished game early on into development, it was deleted, but remains as such.

Spy X Family

It’s said that Spy X Family was based on a real event in the Cold War, the story goes that a Russian woman and American man, both spies of course, “fell” in love with each other, unknown that one or the other was a spy at all and there adopted daughter showed psych abilities, reading minds and predicting, but after a few years the family disappeared after gunshots were heard from the house, and they were never heard from again.
