More than a decade ago at this point, Completed Namespace Migrations was a necessity to take note of complete wicks transfers to work namespaces, back when there was a major drive to migrate works away from Main/ and designate that for tropes. Seeing as work pages have all long been namespaced and Main/ redirects to a work ceased to be a thing, I'm not sure what future that simple lists would have. Goes without saying that there still is a need for Wick Namespace Migration, especially when works get transferred from one namespace to the next.

I imagine they can simply be ignored.

I propose sending it and subpages to Archive/ because people still consistently use it to document moves of work pages from one namespace to another or title renames, when that's not the page's purpose.

Looks like page locking is in order here, then.

Archiving the entries is a good idea.

Do we still need Namespaced Works with Less Than 15 Wicks or should they just be moved to the appropriate pages?

I think these pages should be moved to Archive/ because they're historical in nature, due to being from the early days of namespaces rather than being for current Wick Namespace Migration projects.

[up][up] That's probably not as important to archive (if there's any section I'm not keen on archiving, it's the lot of these). Doesn't help that the subpages within it are all a lot more recent than the original effort.

Anyone opposed to a mass archival?

I'd say delete them. They don't even seem worth keeping as archives. There's no truly useful/interesting info there like with others that could maybe have nostalgia, just a few notes that don't seem particularly noteworthy and really long lists of works.

[tup] Archival. I think they're worth keeping as archives for anyone interested in site history.

Maybe if we want to note that history, we could say something like "In the past, pages where wick migrations have been finished and noted to be checked occassionally were kept on a separate page. Since Main/ redirects to works are now deleted whenever possible thanks to auto-disambiguation, it's no longer necessary." on Wick Namespace Migration while removing the "Careful, though. Sites all over the world link to our works' pages. We need to leave a redirect in place to service those links." because of the aforementioned auto-disambiguation. Removes a bunch of unneeded pages (after all, Imminent Arrivals was also deleted because of Future Works, and so was Pages In Accidentally Miscapitalised Namespaces because of this thread, so there is precedent for deleting stuff because of an updated process even if they had some info regarding processes) and updates something that is nowadays incorrect in a current page.

I moved the main page to Archive.Completed Namespace Migrations and locked it. I left the subpages in the CompletedMigrations/ namespace, but still locked them while listing them as archives on Administrivia.Wiki Archives and Administrivia.Locked Pages.

Edit: The subpages were moved to the Archive/ namespace after further discussion among the mod team, but the old CompletedMigrations/ locations were kept as redirects.
