The reactions in forum posts to be updated to resemble their respective namespace icons. ^note  I'm especially curious to see the yellow Emoji-looking faces in an art style similar to the Funny Moments, So Bad, It's Horrible and Just for Fun icons.

A "preview changes" button so you can see the changes you made to a page prior to pushing said changes. Should also help with making proper edit reasons.

That already exists in the form of the Preview button.

I think they meant a feature where you can see the changes you're making in highlight, like other wikis have, not just the final page. Here, you can only see them in the history after you've already saved the edit.

No. Something like this. Suppose you change this entry:

• Aerith and Bob: Jack, John, Jenna and James... And Jinyah.

Into this:

• Aerith and Bob: The show features characters named Jack, John, Jenna and James... And then there's Jinyah, which isn't even a real name.

The "Preview Changes" button should show something like this:

Ah, another thing I thought. This one's for TLP: forcing downvoters to tell the reason why they downvoted the proposal, as not every downvoter is willing to say why they downvoted the proposal, and even less downvoters are willing to change their vote once the problem they marked is addressed.

I'd add a feature to preview your comments on TLP to see if the formatting is correct, like the one on the forums.

I want the ability to automatically jump to your Troper page by clicking an option on the drop-down menu (the one that shows up when you press you profile pic in the top-right hand corner.)

That's actually been proposed before.

We could benefit from having alphabetizing rules posted somewhere. I see so many mistakes in alphabetizing examples, like counting articles such a "A" and "The" as the part to start with, or if a trope name in examples goes "Stabilizing Something Something" and then the next is "Stabilized Something Something", when the second should come first.

Better forum search, in general. Being able to search your own posts or a specific word in a specific thread, showing a list of every thread with a specific word in the title like you could before the site redesign...

I was thinking there would be multiple characters to choose from. Trope-tan could be the first one, but I'd also like to see Tropey the Wonder Dog, Alice and Bob, and other characters from Playing With pages, such as Wally the Walrus and Tropo the Clown.

Hey guys, new backend dev for TV Tropes here. Thanks everyone for the ideas so far! I'm now monitoring the Wishlist and Bugs sections for ideas on what to work on going forward. So, to get a better idea on whats most popular, please comment your ideas in the Wishlist section and like/comment on other current requests so i know what to work on first. Some of your ideas may already be in there so please skim through them first to avoid duplicate requests. Thanks all! :D

I was thinking about too-long pages, and how we're currently using subpages to shorten them, but could we paginate instead, like on page_type_per_namespace and other Itty Bitty Wiki Tools?

But it seems weird? Or is it?

Absolutely! Just put the finalized ideas in the Query Wishlist and comment/like the ones already in there so it will help me determine what the community wants the most since there's a lot of ideas floating around. I don't want to end up changing something that isn't actually in-demand or change something the community isn't in agreement on.
