Here, you give a trope, and the next troper makes up an example wholesale from a media work they made up on the spot.

Both prompts and responses should follow relevant wiki rules — exactly one trope per prompt/no tropeslashing, Playing With only applies to tropes (not Trivia or YMMV), and responses need to make sense without having seen the work (because the work doesn't exist), and so forth.

At one point in Chronicles Of Alseide The Succession War, you're given a mission to escort Princess Selina of Lyonesse from Oulwich to Taranea. She is a fully functional AI-controlled party member who will attempt to assist you in battle… emphasis on "attempt." Unfortunately, she has the combat skills of the sheltered fourteen-year-old girl she is, so she doesn't offer much help, and if she dies it's a game over.

The last episode of Spaceketeers: Genji, features the explosion of the star Panza that the crew of the Shinseinanote witness, ultimately ending the war between the Flotte Galactique/Galactic Fleet and the terrorist Hoshirian Army, which later fades into a white screen, cutting into to the "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue, set six months later in Earth, showing that the crew has survived, revealing that the supernova is visible through Earth's skies under a telescope.

In Tricksters, Ares brings up his demigod daughter Alcippe, who he went out of his way to ensure had a happy, well-provided life, until the day when she reached the age of sixteen, and Poseidon's demigod son, Halirrhothius, came upon her and tried to rape her. Alerted by his daughter's screams, Ares ran to her aid, and then threw Halirrhothius off her before he could actually violate her, before then stabbing and hacking him repeatedly, screaming furiously, and not stopping until his entire face and body were wet with Halirrhothius' blood. Then, after he calmed down, and saw Alcippe staring in horror at him, Ares broke down into helpless sobbing- not because he regretted saving his daughter's life, but because between his actions and Halirrothius', both men had destroyed Alcippe's formerly-rosy view of the world.

Overlaps with an inversion of What Measure Is a Non-Cute? in Sweet Squad. The imposing Gloompuses which are based on "mean" creatures like lizards, snakes, scorpions, sharks, and the like, despite technically embodying negative emotions and pessimism, are ultimately only instigate said emotions to bring the best out of people, and for the most part, it turns out to work wonders. The cat-like Sunshines, while not really malicious, forcibly pushes positive emotions on humans uncaring of the consequences.

  • Video Game/ Gunslinger Knight: The item "Hellish Stew" is described as "tasting like a mouthful of fire and brimstone with a hearty texture of shame and delicate aftertaste of regret," and to have "been invented by disgraced clerics as a form of pennance."It does 25-30 damage upon consumption, but causes you to regenerate 15 HP per second for 45 seconds (longer and more potent than most other Food items) and grants resistance to Fire and Poison damage, due to its caustic spiciness.

In Sir John Falstaff's Holiday, the plot of Romeo and Juliet goes very differently, thanks to Sir John Falstaff being on holiday in Verona at the time the story takes place, and getting lumped in with Romeo by sheer coincidence. After hearing the (erroneous) report of Juliet's death, Romeo goes to the apothecary to buy poison, and a concerned Falstaff follows him, then takes the opportunity to "accidentally" sweep the vial of poison off the counter and smash it, then replace it with a vial of prune juice, hoping Romeo won't be able to tell the difference. Romeo does not, and after returning to Verona to pay his respects to Juliet, he drinks the "poison", but it doesn't kill him- which, in turn, means Juliet doesn't stab herself upon waking up and seeing him. The romantic reunion is somewhat tainted, though, by the fact that the prune juice ends up making Romeo defecate himself right there in the crypt, producing an eye-wateringly foul stench that makes everybody who comes down there rush to excuse themselves.

Antonia from The Joys, Sorrows, and In-Betweens of Joe and Friends is a very odd woman. She dresses in Victorian-era clothing every day and her hobbies include hanging upside down from trees, wading in ponds and poking at the pond scum, and collecting bread. One episode even has her stating that she's incapable of using reason, although whether such a statement is true is dubious.

In Pokemon Biology and Chemistry, Arachma is a small, adorable-looking Bug/Steel type spider with an ornate pattern on its hard abdomen. The webs created by it and its evolution Drachne are commonly used by humans for building infrastructure, and they're depicted in-game as being as loyal to their trainers as any other Pokemon.

Giant's Knife; Human's Greatsword

One episode of Huzzah! sees Egon the Blademaster attempt to retrieve a weapon called the Giant's Toothpick for a collector. Of course, due to Egon being a human, in his hands it's almost on par with the average pole-arm in size.

my apologies my answer kinda sucks

  • Lantern's Lock:
    • Lantern's lock deconstructs the relationship between the player and the character you play as. You, the player, take the form of a lantern with a moon shard in it, and are being carried around by Moth Leclair, a 14-year-old not-so Silent Protagonist. Controlling your character is described as the lantern communicating to Moth by telling them where to go, and you can even pass on the lantern to other party members to control them.
    • Lantern's Lock also deconstructs Level Grinding. There is an Anti-Grinding mechanic set if you hunt too much of the same monster in one area, Moth and the other party members start to comment on how the species may become endangered, or even extinct, depending on the kind of creature. Eventually, Moth will begin to make excuses about "hunting something else" or "just getting rid of the monsters that get in our way." Soon, they'll just tell you to stop.
      • Moth also makes it so that killing possessed humans/humanoids is impossible, and at most, leaves them at a low HP. This can be evaded if you steer them too far down the path to the bad ending.

In Dig In Your Heels, the main characters end up visiting such a bar- appropriately called The Bullet Club- after Don Rikishi of the Samoan mafia calls in a favour and asks them to take his son Solo Sikoa there so that Solo can find other ways of enjoying himself when he's not working for the family. The place is dingy, the bartender is none other than The Undertaker himself, and the pool cues are made of solid steel- all of which makes Sheamus want to say Screw This, I'm Out of Here! On the upside, despite the tension felt by the characters, a Bar Brawl doesn't take place- primarily because the Bullet Club staff don't like getting blood on their furniture- and eventually, the party ends up thoroughly enjoying themselves- especially once a certain Australian girl and Northern Irish man show up, and Dom and Nikki take notice.

Deconstructive Parody

My idea

"Every Parody of Music Videos 10 Years Ago" deconstructs the conventions of spoofs, particularly those made by Bart Baker, pointing out how they go for low blows towards the singers (especially female singers) rather then offer meaningful criticism of the industry and those who actually are responsible for the state of such.

[up][up] In Pokemon Biology and Chemistry, it is established that two of Dodrio's three heads bury themselves underground not to hide from enemies, but rather to watch out for them. When Dodrio sleeps, one head stays awake to be on the lookout for predators on the surface, while the two sleeping heads bury themselves in the ground to keep an ear out for activity underground. This is possible because while Dodrio has three pairs of lungs, only one of them needs to be actively taking in air to survive. If one of the sleeping heads hears something underground, it will immediately resurface to alert the others.

[up] The Ass Burgers Defense simultaneously pays homage to, parodies, and deconstructs the Flash games of the 2000s and the culture surrounding them. The game follows a group of edgy high school seniors taking a gap year after graduation to form a studio called "Bloody Violent Games," and it doesn't hesitate to get meta as it shows how the creators' real lives influence the games they make.

Actor-Inspired Element

    My Idea
Rolf Wyndon has always been open about letting the actors in his shows influence their characters, but nowhere is this more apparent than in On The Spectrum. Some notable non-improv examples include:
  • John and Carson's autistic stims and other body language were influenced by how their actors stimmed in real life, both on and off set.
  • Melissa Bertrand's character arc was suggested by her actor Corinne Garvey. Garvey, who is a lesbian in real life, wanted Melissa's journey of self acceptance to reflect the one she went on in real life. Melissa's Closet Key being Shego was a direct reference to Corinne's first girl crush.
  • Guinivere Tranh, a professional fashion designer, designs all of Kimmy Cooper's clothes. Kimmy's wardrobe is filled with outfits Guin hand-sewed for the show.
  • In a uniquely recursive case of Real Life Writes the Plot, Kelly Greene's debate on whether or not she should take an autism test in the season one finale inspired her actor, Catherine Glasgow, to get tested for autism in real life. Glasgow's test results diagnosed her not with autism, but with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Kelly's test results in the show was written to reflect that.

They seem to appear whenever he thinks about romance, especially when he takes on the role of the group's Shipper on Deck and becomes surrounded by a burgundy-colored auranote  and the ability to cause two people to fall in love with each other, similarly to Cupid. He also seems to sometimes be able to activate it on command, calling upon "the power of romance".

In Dig In Your Heels, R-Truth tells the gang about a theory running around that the reason the original Slim Jim factory closed down was because The Mothman and his race decided to take over the factory and build a nest for themselves there, just because they liked the taste of the meaty snack that much. R-Truth being R-Truth, the gang don't believe him... until they go to visit the factory themselves, and find that it has indeed been converted into a gigantic Mothman (Mothmen? Mothpeople?) community, where the big alien insects just hang out together, eating Slim Jims and raising their caterpillars in a nursery. Of course, then the Mothmen find them and throw them out, after which R-Truth doesn't hesitate to rub it in their faces.
