These are good for Image Links, but I still prefer 1.1
I'd like to apologize for all this.I still prefer 1.1
1.1 because you can see it's a giant spider with the human for comparison. The other suggestions are spiders of undeterminate size
What Andariel said.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.1.1 because it has the advantage of a person for comparison
My troper wallThere's this one◊ from the Image Links tab, from VideoGame.Chaos Heat (awesome game, severely underrated, thank you Taito)
It might need some cropping from the left side, but here goes

Duke’s Dear Freja from Dark Souls 2. If this isn’t approved I think it’s better than the image on the character sheet.

Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?I'm still going for 1.1. The rest of the images on OP don't make things clear about the spider's size, and 10 is incomprehensible to me.

A lot of good you did me.I'm not super fond of 1.1, not gonna lie — the framing isn't great and the spider's probably a bit too stylized to be very illustrative — but it's also the only one with a clear size comparison, so it's technically the preferable one by dint of showing the trope.
A few other alternatives:
A random spider, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Shadra, World of Warcraft Arachnarok spiders, Total War: WarhammerFinding a decent shot of one of these was surprisingly difficult for a visual medium.
Like Andariel said, it's clear that the spider is giant in comparison of the boy. I still prefer 1.1
I still prefer 1.1. It just delivers the scale very neatly while still being recognizably a spider. The others are much more cluttered.
Either 1.1 or 12.1 seem best.
One more for the pile, from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones...
(Would need cropped but I'm on mobile)

Crop all the stats, maybe?
Still prefer 1.1.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableAt this point, a crowner is needed
Is it? Everyone likes 1.1 (me included, it's by far the cleanest and spookiest)

My vote would be for 1.2. The giant grass in the background of 1.1 (or at least, it looks like giant grass) made me think the boy was in an Incredible Shrinking Man-plot at first glance. The trees in 1.2 make it easier to tell the spider is big.
"Squid has to go to market. He's had to go to market for as long as he's sucked water."Still voting 1.1 for reasons already stated.
This Image Is Not an Example isn't a reason why the image can't be used to illustrate. It does perfectly fine at demonstrating the idea of a "giant spider", and since tropes are flexible IDK if a character shrinking down impacts the spider's status anyway.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessEven if we grant that 1.1 isn't clear, nothing in-frame makes 1.2 any better for anyone unfamiliar with Minecraft.
First Pokemon image would be good as well. Second is a little busy.

I also think 1.1 is the clearest.
