Most NES-era sound effects in general and many other older games. I have a particular soft spot for the jumping in Commander Keen.
I'm a big sucker for the smacking sound of the Demi-fiend's basic attack in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.
Also, when you get them on your team, Matador's laugh and Daisoujou's screech are very satisfying to hear.
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…Three words: OK desu ka?

Kumatora needs to be appreciated more. Appreciate her. Also the...glass...breaking...shattering? I guess? That noise that plays whenever you're about to get a critical hit or exploit a weakness in Persona 5.
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…Lego character death sounds.
“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” - Lewis CarrollTri-Ace's. I dont know how to describe them but the sound effects for Star Ocean The Second Story and Valkyrie Profile are major nostalgia!!!

SoundCloudThe little cash register noise that plays when you land a final blow in Titanfall 2.
Actually, basically all of that one's voice acting and sound effects are on point. The sword is yours, Pilot.

oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘I don't know why, but I find the menu sound effects in Gran Turismo 2 and 3* quite calming and nostalgic, if you excuse the overused buzzword

simple asI love pretty much every sound effect in Wario Land 4, but special mention goes to this one.
Kumatora needs to be appreciated more. Appreciate her.The weapon sound effects from the Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen video game are slick as.
The character/vehicle unlock sound effect from Mario Kart Wii
"I'm Mary Poppins, Y'all!" - Yondu,2017The Mappy sound effects, all of them.
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."Might I add the beam katana recharge noise from No More Heroes?
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…The thunderclap that plays when you knock out an enemy in Batman: Arkham City.
One from my childhood: the Penguin Suit powerup sound from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenThough many find it annoying, I find "mumble talk" charming if used sparingly.
I like the sound when you "memorize" a weak statement in Danganronpa class trials.
1. The sound of the Snake eating something.
2. The Sneak Attack sound effect from Skyrim, especially if it's a successful Back Stab.
3. The lock on noise from Ketsui.
4. The power-up activated sound from Gradius Gaiden or Gradius V.
5. Anytime a Charge Attack makes a "warm up" noise followed by a satisfying explosion, such as the Wave Cannon from R-Type III and R-Type Final, the Peacemaker from Jak II: Renegade and Jak 3: Wastelander, and the Railcannon's static ambient noise from ULTRAKILL.
Google Snake Game.Pretty much anything Burroughs says. Some of my favorites include:
"Good morning, Master."
"Congratulations on completing the quest!"
"I'm detecting a strong demon ahead. Do you want to go on?" (I particularly like it when I'm feeling somewhat bloodthristy)
"You look great just standing there."
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…Watching all those Half-Life sound effect memes has made me realize that I really love the pick-up/equip sound effect. God, it's so satisfying!
There's also the 1-Up sound effect. Always a pleasure to hear it. And the sound when a tackle hits an enemy in Wario Land 4.
Oh, and anything from the Merchant. Everybody loves the Merchant.

My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.Pretty basic but picking up coins in Super Mario Bros. is always hugely satisfying because of that sound. Funny enough, one of my old jobs had a time clock that would make a similar noise upon clocking in/out, which kinda makes sense because you're earning "coins" by working.
Oh man, speaking of coins in Mario games, the sound the red coins make in Super Mario 64 was so satisfying.
A great Mascot Mook.
A couple of mine are:
The Xen healing pools from Half-Life. Apparently I'm not alone
D'sparil's death scream from Heretic. I can't find a clip of it on it's own but if you check out this video it's at about 5:19.
